This is the third time my wife and I have stayed here and it is always lovely. Just out of time so really quiet and peaceful but close enough to walk in to shop or browse. Friendly staff, free jaccuzi, always ready to allocate our preferred room, very good value for money: what's not to like? My only little moan: the breakfast buffet could do with a little more variety, eg nuts with cereal. But the hot English b/fast is always great and made to order!

From the moment I walked in, to that when I left, the staff were superb. Available to help when required, helped to create a great environment. Pool, sauna, steam room and hot tub were used in the evening and morning, clean towels available at reception each time. Breakfast, again helpful and food was good too. Would stay again and will be.

Overall a nice little overnight stay for myself and my so . The family room however is very tired and requires some attention particularly the bed which has seen betrays. The mattress was too soft and the springs could be felt. Not an overly comfortable sleep.

Lovely hotel

Old Mill hotel is a perfect location for us as we have family close by. Room 3 is a small, dark room but perfect for our requirements. Good shower and comfy bed. The staff are always friendly and helpful so it’s always great to visit.

Wecstsyed for one night as we were meeting up with friends in Ramsbottom. Hotel is in a lovely location, within walking distance of the town and a really nice area. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Excellent service. The hotel is in need of a refresh really. We had a very old fashioned shower in our room and things just looked 'tired'. However, we only usually stay for one night so ok for us but if staying longer i think the bathroom and rooms need a bit of modernisation. No offence. We had a nice evening and the price was reasonable.

Lovely location, its a shame the hotel is very tiered The shower was awful no pressure at all barely wet you Room was ok but very only clunky furniture, bed was comfy. Room was not cleaned for 3 days ( it was over Christmas) Staff were friendly

Lovely old building with great features and facilities. Nice and quiet in my room and very warm. Elegantly set up with Xmas decorations. Nice friendly staff and a wonderful breakfast in the morning. Would definitely stop here again, but probably take my swimmers to enjoy the facilities better

Friends weekend break

The stay was good but I had specifically asked for a accessible room and bathroom This did not happen as they don’t have them and no lift so my 76 year old friend had to battle with the stairs do not great at all

Overall for one night it was ok. Breakfast good and helpful people. The carpets on the second floor were disgusting dirty need a good clean or renewed. Our room for £89 was so small we could just about get in bed. The single room wasn’t much better. And should not of been charged at the same price as the double. 2 star only.

Thebhotel staff were veryvnice and the parking and locstion were both really good but the room we were given was very old and tired, it was clean and the bathroom part was ok but the room was badly in need of some tlc. Another nigglenwas no plug sockets near the bed they were all over the other side of the room. The noise was the issue with this room, though, banging doors until very late, and the sound of what we were told was the pool pump meant very little sleep. The doors were staff usage as i think we were near a door being propped open and closed whilst sorting the bar and then again at breakfast. The pool area was also badly in need of a thorough update. We had no hot water in the female changing rooms both times we used the pool. I really wanted to give a better review as the staff were lovely but sadly i can't
