"Had a few small issues regarding payment for our rooms but this was sorted at check out. This is a fantastic place to stay. The rooms are beautiful and very well equipped with everything you would want. The staff are great. Harriet looked after us very well as did Dale. We stay in the Cotswolds quite a bit but have never stayed here before. We will definitely be staying again. In the restaurant we ordered a roast and it was extremely good. "The hotel is easy to find, great parking, ability to eat at the hotel and sit in a nice beer garden. If you have mobility issues make sure you request ground floor room as there are lots of stairs and long corridors. I stayed in a deluxe room which was advertised as bigger than average. Overall pleasing colour decor. Tea, coffee , water . Now to be picky - the mattresses on the single beds pushed together to represent a" king size bed " need replacing . The shower area needs to be bleached....

Very cluttered with junk in the corridoors and corners which doesn't look great but also could be a fire hazard? Staff really friendly. Good size car park behind. Lovely pub. Great price."

"A really great stay, check in was smooth mid afternoon, superior room was fine with a fantastic super king bed and huge bathroom. We had supper in the bar, good food and drinks in a busy pub setting, a nice buzz and big shout out to Lewis and Sam who were so friendly and professional, a great team. Breakfast was really good, again in the bar with plenty of choices cooked to order as well as a small buffet. We will definitely return again!"

"The location in Winchcombe is beautiful. Cotswold Old with cottages draped in climbing roses. Our room for the price was as described. Clean but a bit rickety. Everything creaked. The food was stunning and it was a very nice pub with a very good choice of beers and ales on tap. We were a tad put out there was no breakfast option on Expedia. Only available if you book direct."

It is situated perfectly with great independent eateries and bars within a short walk. Parking is a little difficult and if there were some way of communicating exactly when a space would be free that would be more convenient. The lack of a working freezer compartment was the only other downside although...
