Peaceful.

Very clean and good location. Somewhat isolated but close enough to everything to be convenient. Very spacious and well kept. Would stay again if in this area.

Lake Getaway!

What a fun trip. The cabin is beautiful and sits right on the lake! It was so peaceful and a perfect getaway…if you want to elevate your trip, rent a boat and keep it at the private dock!

Great weekend getaway! We timed it perfectly for the fall color and spent a fun morning on the lake in the provided kayaks. Lake Watauga is beautiful!

Perfect!

Oh, nice modern cabin on the lake with plenty of room. Thoroughly enjoyed the boat dock and the kayaks that came with the rental. There was even a jet ski slip for our JetSki. Will definitely be back next year!

Breathtaking!

The cabin was beautiful and what a spectacular view! The paddle boat was fun. You get a work out with the stairs but so worth it. Had the most wonderful weekend! Totally worth the money.

3 Bears Cabin Family Vacation

Great stay, the house was as depicted in the photos, but the steep GRAVEL driveway almost defied us; truly a 4-wheel drive is needed to get OUT of the driveway; we made it just as I was headed to phone AAA. There were some minimal easily fixable items which we informed the owner and the staff about with email/notes other than we forgot to mention the front door to the deck which is in bad shape and very badly needs to be fixed before someone completely breaks it.

This place was a great place to stay! You can tell the owner really takes care of the cabin and property! The views were amazing. This is a three level property with steep stairs. I would not recommend for elderly people. The drive way is downhill and can be a challenge for some. It’s a small price to pay for the beauty of this place. The air controls and thermostats are a little weird, but we were able to manage. Watauga Lake is beautiful and I believe this cabin has the best view on the lake!

Great time!

My wife, two kids, sister and her husband had a great time at Three Bears Cabin. The cabin was super clean with all necessary items and Michele was a great host, quickly responsive to texts and emails. We visited Boone, NC on Saturday (about 50 minutes away) and enjoyed snow tubing on our way home on Sunday. The cabin was a restful place to return to on Saturday afternoon after a long day of driving, shopping, and sight seeing. My wife and I commented to each other how much fun the cabin would be in the summer time with activities on the lake, but, even in the cold of winter, the cabin was great. The cabin is about 30 minutes from any grocery store, so be sure to stop to pick up groceries on your way or know you'll need to leave and come back. Thank you, Michele!

Lots of Space for Family

The cabin was beautiful, kitchen well stocked and had a nice table for playing games. There were a few things that would have made it better, i.e. nightstands on both sides of the beds. The parking and driveway were tricky and so glad we switched to an AWD rental. The grandkids loved having room to spread out! The lake is gorgeous.

Beautiful location!

This cabin was the perfect spot for a girl's retreat/getaway. We rented a pontoon at Cove Ridge Marina and spent lots of time on the lake! Very clean and as advertised. The views are absolutley breath-taking! My only feedback would be that a few deck chairs available to take down to the dock would be a nice touch, once we got down there there is no where to sit and relax.

Location, location! This beautiful home has incredible views from every deck. The home itself was spotless and extremely well cared for. The well-stocked kitchen had everything we needed. From the bedding to the lake toys a great deal of care went into making this relaxing spot a luxury home. When we ventured into town, we found delightful little restaurants with great food and excellent service. People were friendly and the Vineyard is not to be missed! We look forward to booking another, longer, getaway here.

We stayed here during our last visit to Tennessee. It was so peaceful being right on the water. The home was very clean and nicely done. Can't wait to go back!
