"Stay one night "

"We stayed in a double queen room at Boxwood Lodge. Upon arrival staff was friendly and helpful. First room TV wasn’t working properly, changed room for us. Room was spacious and looked like it was somewhat updated, beds were comfortable and the linens were clean. Bathroom is in need of some updating. Worked fine but needs a facelift. Grounds are satisfactory. Only problem was we were on the first floor of the two story queen building. People in room above were very noisy until 1am....

"Property is great for a quick stay, but wouldn’t consider if staying more than 2 days. Beds and rooms are clean, looks like they recently “updated” facility but it wasn’t the best. We stayed in a room that was “no smoking” but every morning we would wake up to the smell of someone smoking. Property says they have breakfast which they do but all they have is cereal, coffee and juices. "

"Stay was good, quiet place, it was clean. I don't understand the negative reviews on google. I didn't have one problem during the whole week stay."

"It is in an easy location to find. While it is on a state hwy, it is out of the way of heavy traffic. It provided all we needed for our stay. The only 'not so nice' thing was that the counter-top for the sink had a crack in it that ran the entire width of the top. It was located such that when the faucet was on, water could go into the crack and then to the floor."

"This little mom and pop motel was perfect for pur 1 night stay.the room was simple but clean. Location was outstanding and the grounds were very well maintained with lots of sitting ootions."
