The bathroom was really clean with quality fixtures. The room was beautiful and the bed comfortable. It's on an old farm on the outskirts of town so it was really quiet.

My stay at Buxton Crescent Hotel was pleasant and relaxing. The staff was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout my visit. Breakfast was delicious, well-organized, and offered a wonderful dining experience. The hospitality and attention to detail made my stay even more enjoyable. My family of four stayed in this lovely inn at the end of December 2015. We were looking for a place to stay between attending a Manchester United Football game and visiting the English countryside. This location was perfect! It allowed us to stay out of the city in a more relaxed and less commercial inn, so that we could truly get a feel for the area. This place was spectacular!! We wish would could have stayed longer!! The cottage was beautifully done, the staff was so kind, and how cool to have sheep and cows right out our front door!! We highly recommend staying here and we will be back!!!

This was a very nice space. The bed was nice and comfortable and the shower had awesome water pressure. The room was however, very warm so we had to open the window the tiny amount that it opens. Unfortunately, the street below is very busy and loud. This noise made it difficult for me to get any rest.

Had a little problem with the toilet but the staff said they would be quick to fix it. Other than that our stay was great. The food and service were excellent. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Beautiful quiet location with the most magnificent gardens. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom was exquisite. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I was very impressed with the Queen's Head. Nice clean room in a great location in Higher Buxton. Housekeeping promptly every day. First-rate full English breakfast included. My only complaint is that the room was rather small. There was no space to have an open suitcase, so I had to stuff it in a closet. That was a little inconvenient. Of course, I realize there is nothing they can do about that. It is an old building, and the room size is what it is.

The rooms were spacious, charmingly decorated, and clean. The staff could not do enough for us, even postponing a scheduled fire drill because we told the breakfast staff I was planning on taking a jet lag nap before going out to explore the countryside. Meals were absolutely delicious with a great take on traditional favourites. A must stay!
