"This place probably doesn’t even need one more fantastic review but it does deserve one.What our family (mom, dad, and four children ages 18-23) loved: Beauty and love- it is so apparent this home was lovingly crafted- the love in the details of every square inch literally reaches out to hug you. Each area makes you feel like you are one with the forest right outside. You can hear the creek that runs through the “back yard” (a seemingly bug-free forest) when you’re inside- and if you love nature as much as we do, that’s perfection you can’t find just anywhere.Some mentioned the swinging beds being problematic but we loved them- they felt soothing and peaceful.There were burning restrictions so we couldn’t have a fire but we were happy to grill on the deck and, as others mentioned, the extremely well-stocked kitchen was super appreciated. It is waaaay out and not near any provisions- we’d done our homework and packed everything we could need, so this didn’t trip us up. The only thing to be aware of is that while there is a futon and a pull-out couch, neither of those options would be good for someone with a bad back. If you’ve got old codgers in your group they will need to sleep in one of the beds for sure.We spent a whole week exploring Oregon and this was nights three and four of our stay- several of us enjoyed the time here as the best time of the entire trip- and we all had great fun hiking and climbing around the falls nearby.Thanks for the dreamy stay "

"The outside was beautiful. It had several lovely places to sit looking at a relaxing lake. The inside had everything you need for a stay. However, it wasn’t very clean. The previous guest owned dogs, so there was dog hair everywhere. For example, the headboard on the bed was covered with dog hair as were the sheets. If they had a better cleaning crew the place would be perfect."
