Accomodation (the room) was good, however the spa/lift was out of service for the whole week of the stay with no attempt to resolve. The front desk was not serviced often with no where to store bags on the day of leaving

Relaxing lounge with comfortable furnishings. Open dining opening onto courtyard with outdoor table and chairs . Access to pool and BBQ areas. Great spa which we tried on arrival. Unfortunately next day pool was being renovated so we couldn't use but that was ok we walked to the beach and swam there. Easy flat walk to town so you can leave car parked at property as parking in Byron gets busy.

PROS: Free, locked car park for guests. About 15 mins walk to centre of town (shops, meals, etc) Has an outdoor pool and spa. Large king size bed. Friendly staff. Economical. CONS: More noise than other places due to the layout of the complex and closeness of other apartments. You have to pay for top ups of hotel sundries (soaps, etc) that are normally provided as part of the nightly fee. You need to dispose of your own rubbish on departure or be charged a fee for not doing this. You can be charged a fee for not leaving the room clean, but it's not clear exactly what the expected standard is. There is not always a staff member on site. Some rooms have only a microwave for cooking. SUMMARY: This is a great choice if you are looking for a cheaper venue for short stays, or if you are going to be spending a lot of time out and about during your trip to Byron Bay, if you don't mind a walk to shops and eateries, and noise isn't a major dealbreaker for you.
