Top Byron Hotel Reviews

Kahler Inn and Suites - Mayo Clinic Area

8/10 Good

"This hotel was very convenient to Mayo, just a five minute walk. It was especially nice to stay so close to mayo and yet avoid dealing with the construction. Parking was easy to get to if you use the ramp across the street from the hotel. Overall the hotel is a bit dated but very clean. The beds could use replacing as the mattress was saggy. We liked having the extra room of a suite as well as the mini kitchen."

AmericInn by Wyndham Rochester Near Mayo Clinic

8/10 Good

"The room was comfortable and clean. The room was not sealed tight from the outdoors and we had several wasps in our room. That isn’t really something the hotel can control this time of year. The front desk attendants were helpful and very courteous. Nice hot breakfast included, close to Mayo Clinic with a free shuttle bus. My only complaint was the woman who takes care of the breakfast. She was so rude and very unprofessional! Her behavior was unacceptable in so many ways. Breakfast goes until 10 am at 9:55 I wanted a waffle that would take less than 3 minutes to prepare. She was so angry, started slamming things around another person asked for an item and she barked NO at them. I understand rules are put in place for a reason, however a smile and kindness goes a long way!"
