"I would like to say that my Husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Element Hotel downtown Calgary! The staff were amazing to say the least! The rooms are immaculate, comfortable and there was everything we needed and more in our room. And the bathroom was beautiful, very clean and roomy. I am an elderly lady who uses a walker to get around and I had not one problem with our room. Excellent lay out And also the staff in the Restaurant on the 12th floor were a wonderful a great crowd so friendly. Great atmosphere! Food was delicious and the views were amazing! "Throughout the entire hotel the staff were easily the #1 star. Exceptionally friendly at check-in, breakfast and anywhere else. Hotel wise it's a fabulous location if you're going car free as it's a 2 minutes walk from the airport bus and 2 minutes to the train. The rooms are clean, very spacious but sound proofing could be improved. Breakfast is hot, plenty of options and a nice large area."

"Small room overall. Shower wand was broken. The hallway was incredibly hot and had an unpleasant odor. They added a previously undisclosed $220.00 fee for the stay which was a surprise on arrival and was over and above the pre-paid 2 night stay for $433.98. All-in all, not worth the stay and will look elsewhere in the future."
