"There were 6 of us for 11 nights. The property is a great location, short walk to Playa Flamingo. The staff are very helpful and kind. Concierge even helped us plan our excursions. The cleaning staff were excellent and we very much enjoyed the huge patio. Costa Rican people are delightful"

"The perfect spot to call a home base while in the Flamingo. Loved the style and the staff were always attentive. My kids loved it as well. Tow small pools just right for the evening dip. I mean, you go to the beach to go to the beach 😆 so yes, they are just right. All around great spot, well maintained also. Thank you Casas del Toro🙌"

"The property felt new and well cared for. We especially enjoyed the pool. It was beautiful, pristinely clean and just right to rinse away the day after diving and time on the beach. We enjoyed the security of the gated property. Although the other guests were delightful, be aware that this is a property where the activities are self created. There is no real social scene, but that is to be expected for a property with no dining or beverage service. That said, there are lots of excellent dining options within minutes of the property. From the more upscale Marina area to the rustic but excellent Beach House the food was wonderful. We will book this property again on our next visit."
Luxury Sunset Villa with Direct Acces to the Flamingo Beach

"Views were amazing and property was very spacious. Definitely enough room for a large group. A/C worked well and was a welcome respite! Proximity to marina is great. We were able to able to walk in for dinner and ice cream a few nights. There is a grocery store only a short distance away. There are also several restaurants close by. The property felt very secure. It has high fences around it and as you pull into the community there was what appeared to be a person watching 24 hrs a day. There is all kinds of wildlife from an iguana that patrols the property to birds and crabs!The property is located on a hill. Walking to/from the marina or beach is up/down a large hill. Stairs to the beach are substantial. We counted over 180 stairs. Property is starting to show some signs of aging and wear. Hot tub doesn’t get hot, not a huge deal but would have been nice after some adventures. Compared to some other properties where there are a basic level of niceties like shampoo, conditioner, coffee, etc this property was lacking. Master bathroom shower was either scalding or cold. Property is definitely one of the top locations we’ve stayed at!"

"Beautiful and well appointed property - the views are spectacular and the kitchen has everything you could want. Great location as well, close to multiple beaches and many good restaurants. The staff takes care of the patio, pool and rooms daily and does a great job. The only minor downsides are some nearby dogs barking at night occasionally and some wear showing in places, like the master bathroom."
Five Bungalows, Swimming Pool and Amenities Amidst a Beachfront Forest.

"What a great trip or group of 5 families (9 adults, 9 teens) had in this property! Each of the bungalows was identical with a large deck, a small kitchen area, two spacious bedrooms and two expansive bathrooms. The AC in the bedrooms was perfect. We opted to have Alicria cook our dinners and some breakfasts for us and they were outstanding. She hit the quantities of everything spot on, and accommodated our mix of meat eaters and vegetarians perfectly. Sher, the concierge took care of finding us the best activities and vendors. We had surf lessons, an estuary tour, daily yoga and a sunset tour. All of the providers she worked with were fantastic. The pool was cleaned daily and started a wonderful temperature even though it was so hot outside. Manfred, the owner was responsive when we requested some fans for the shelter above the communal kitchen. Our group could not have been happier with this rental--the perfect blend of private and public space, great food at great prices, and beachfront on a sandy, deserted, beautiful beach with warm swimmable water. What more could you want?"
