"Incredibly clean property. Our room was spotless! Loved the spacious room, especially the walk-in shower. Good variety of food at buffet breakfast. Unfortunately, due to work being performed, the electricity was cut off for hours 2 days in a row This affected hot water, including the pool, which we couldn't relax in after a day of sight-seeing. In all fairness, we were guests during the rainy season, not high season."

"Llegamos en la noche a las 11:00 pm. Avisamos q llegábamos tarde. No sabíamos cómo entrar estuvimos como media hora esperando. Hasta que el chofer comenzó a tocar bocina. Al final apareció una señora y abrió una compuerta. Era la misma q nos atendió en el front desk. La señora estaba, no muy amigable. Parecía molesta. Fue el único incidente que podemos decir desagradable en el hotel."

"This hotel is a home away from home for us. It is a great location to walk around downtown San Jose and visit the National museum and National theater, shops, and some wonderful restaurants. The hotel has unique rooms and a rich history related to coffee in Costa Rica. The staff is kind and always very helpful. The rooms are always clean, and it is nice to enjoy the breakfast in the morning."
