"This was a great hotel with free breakfast. The breakfast starts at 5:30 am which allowed us to eat before leaving at 6:00 am. It is not just a continental breakfast. They offered waffles, eggs, hash browns, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cereal, yogurt, fruit, and pastries."

"The location was perfect. Very secluded and a great host. The drive in had me a little sketched at first but not bad after one run. I pulled a 25’ boat down there but wouldn’t bring one much bigger. It is pretty far from any store by car so make sure you bring all your groceries in. It was very close to a couple restaurants by boat. The boat house sits in a “no-wake” zone which is in a pretty protected cove. He had plenty of chairs and the upper deck was very nice. Will definitely stay here again. 5 stars all day long. "

"Overall the stay was great. I enjoyed the remoteness of the property. Dock and water access was great. Property could use a deep spring cleaning, but it was good enough. We had a great, quiet family weekend and would happily reserve this property again."

"A few friends and I met at this Possum Kingdom house to relax for a few days, cook out, and listen to music. It went as planned. The house is huge, more secluded than a lot of properties out there, and stocked with pretty much everything you need and want for a getaway, including a pool table and other games, a gas grill, and two refrigerators (one for food, one for beer). I had a little trouble with the code to unlock the front door on arrival, but the owners were responsive and helped me. Over the course of the weekend, we were treated to wildlife sightings, like Barbary sheep, roadrunners, and hawks. And we had some clear nights, so sitting on the deck and looking at the stars was a real treat for us city folk. One suggestion would be to add darker curtains in the living room to eliminate the glare on the TV during the day. I know we shouldn't have been watching TV when the view out the window was so gorgeous, but I don't get the Letterman TV channel at home and I love me some Dave. Highly recommended rental."
