This Rodeway Inn was very comfortable and clean. The price was excellent. Although the breakfast was sparse compared to more expensive hotels, but I don’t feel the others breakfasts are worth $50-$75 which is how much more the other hotels charge for a room. Very pleased with our one night stay.

Convenient to the interstate, plenty of dining around (Cracker Barrel was excellent), remodeled recently with nice beds and quality linens, well-lit. Road noise was pretty loud, especially in the early morning. It was the old-style motel with the doors to the outside, which is great for carrying in luggage from the car. If you just need a clean, quick stay and then get back on the road, this was perfect, but not a place you would want to stay for multiple nights.

The man who checked me in was very, very impolite, rough talking and needs a lesson on not treating paying coustiners like garbage. If I hadn't already paid Expedia for the stay I'd have walked out.

This is a standard inn. My biggest issue was people hanging outside of their rooms, drinking and being loud. The room was clean but very dated and can see that they are the original fixtures and moldings, which is fine but are on the edge of disrepair. The photos are misleading but is a solid place to stay if you need something for a quick night

Dog friendly, staff: not so much. The lady tried to collect the dog fee in cash, I wonder why. Actually I know why, so she could pocket it. She told me not to let the dog sleep in the bed. She insisted that there was only one dog friendly room left and that it was close to the grass… what grass?! There’s a fence that separates the property from a strip of grass along a busy road. I wouldn’t try to access that grass at night in the cold. The people next to me were in and out of their room at ALL hours of the night. The lights outside the front door never shut off, luckily I brought an eye mask. I did not feel the safest, but I was only driving through, got my 7 hours of interrupted sleep and left.

Quite the Gem

The owners were very sweet. The property is obviously older but has been updated and is very well kept. Interstate noise was not a problem. Parking right in front of the room. Bed was comfy. Just a quick overnight; was perfect for my needs. Highly recommend; would stay again if in the area again. Food & fuel available nearby.
