"Where do I start? We had such an amazing stay! The view is unbeatable from the terrace on every floor. The pool is a perfect temperature and the jacuzzi so relaxing. The villa has everything for everyone- games room, yoga mats umbrellas, beach chairs- because the beach is just a few mins walk away. The kitchen is fully equipped- all adds up to a relaxing stay . "Check in wasn’t particularly good. If you don’t speak Spanish it would be challenging as the housekeeper doesn’t speak English. The property itself is tired and needs updating. The kitchen was well equipped but some of the china was chipped. You do need a car to get anywhere. In the evening here are quite a few barking dogs locally. We have stayed in nicer cheaper properties in Spain. The location of the property was good for exploring the region and the local beach was beautiful"

"We loved Cuba Libre, it was fantastic. Everything was clean and the villa very well equipped, with lovely fluffy towels, a great coffee machine / BBQ and a beautiful pool to name just a few things. The area was secluded, private and peaceful but was so close to beautiful beaches and lovely restaurants. We hired a car which was required and enjoyed visits to Cadiz, Jerez and the stunning Seville. Overall we loved our 2 weeks and hope to return!"

"If you want tranquility and stunning views this villa will not dissappoint. Very handy short drive into the pretty village with some small supermarkets which stocked all the essentials you will need for your stay. The villa itself was a little dated and could do with some tlc but not enough to spoil your stay. "There was seven in our party and We stayed for 10 fantastic days. The outside space and pool area are lovely and have multiple seating areas, the pool area did not have lights but this allowed for some impressive star gazing and did not stop us using the pool until late into the evening. There are plenty of shops in the near by town to get supplies. The property manager came every few days to maintain the pool and plants and was so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. "Our family of 5 plus my in laws stayed at this beautiful home. Everything was perfect. The rooms were all very clean and each had amazing views. Outdoor space was perfect for our large group. We had dinner every night outside and watched the best sunsets I have ever seen. The beach is short 10 minute walk and the town is just 10-15 minutes by car. We did day trips to Seville, Malaga, Ronda and Gibraltar."

"We spent 2 wonderful weeks of vacation at this nice house in September. Everything was great: the house is spaceous for 2 adults, safe and quiet neighborhood, it's just a few minutes drive from the beach and 8 km from Chiclana center. "Overall this is a beautiful house and garden in a fabulous location close to a natural park (great for bird watching) and La Barrosa beach...both within walking or safe cycling distance. Loads of great cafes and restaurants. Some amenities in the house need attention eg new toaster required, unable to use jacuzzi bath, BbQs need attention. However issues were addressed promptly when we raised these with Paco and Julia and we would all love to come back next year if the property is available."
