It is not in walking distance to the town of Maipu. You need taxi or car to get to the Wineries. They don’t serve dinner at their very small restaurant until about 9 pm.

The sisters who are managing the place are very helpful and friendly, the Villa has a lot of character and the garden with the pool is beautifully situated. "Spacious, bright, great view. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. You need to buy butter and olive oil etc. Near wineries. Have a car or you'll take a lot of uber. You can hear cars from the busy street nearby. Matias is very responsive and helpful. There is a restaurant across the street, which is excellent. Say hi to Daira."
