Playa Negra is less than a 10 minute walk from the house. It is a wide, relaxed beach with warm water and fewer crowds than other areas.

Puerto Viejo is about 4.1 km away. It is an easy drive or bike ride into town for restaurants, groceries, and nightlife.

There is plenty to do nearby if you want it. Waterfalls, kayaking, national parks, and wildlife are all within reach. Or you can just stay back and enjoy the space.

In the evenings, the outdoor shower and open layout make it easy to transition into a slower pace. The house is quiet at night, with minimal light pollution and a steady jungle backdrop.
