We asked for a room overlooking the main lagoon pool and we received, the room was clean, spacious, and the hotel staff went over an above to make our stay perfect:) The towels were so soft and fluffy, making for a nice shower at the end of a day lazing around that awesome pool the resort has. Reception were only to willing to help, and were readily available. Thank you once again for a much needed break away.

Not exactly a 5star but would stay again.

Convenient location right next to everything. Right across the road from beach, close to shops and on main strip. Staff where polite and friendly. Pool area is the asset to this hotel! Breakfast was average and the cleanliness of the rooms was average also. I think price for most people would be a little high but given the time of year an influx of visitors can’t complain.

Good location, but not worth it

Room was large, and location next to the beach was great. But rooms really needs to be updated. Breakfast was closer to 1 than 5 stars. No local produce and limited selection. Waste of money.

The outdoor pool facilities are great but the rooms are a little dated with loud ceiling fans, and theres no elevators so you have to lug your bags up the stairs. They also don't provide facecloths (even motels will do this) which was annoying. Overall it was a nice stay but expected more for what they charge.

I believe Peppers is promoted as a 4 star + resort. If correct I would not expect at the price I paid to find that there are NO lifts in all but 1 block. At the very least we should have been advised. Likewise with a property of this standard or for that matter any property I would not expect my bedsheets to have holes in them!

Lovely location, great pool, tired rooms.

Lovely large complex very centrally located on the Palm Cove esplanade. Outstanding pools. Downside is the rooms are quite tired. We stayed here directly after staying at Peppers Beach Club in Port Douglas where the rooms have been refurbished and the difference was stark. We wouldn't stay here again until the hotel is refurbished. Also some small oddities - like only one chair on the balcony which was a little strange for a room obviously designed for a couple.

Room was last minute booking, so understandable that it was one of their worst rooms. 3rd floor without access to lift. Room very tired with cracked handbasin and mirror. No in house evening meal available Mon-Wed. Great lagoon pool and other pools. Free on-site parking. Good WiFi. Good snacks available at pool bar during day.

Lovely resort with everything we could have needed. Clean room that was well equipped. The main pool was lots of fun with the swim-up bar, but during school holidays it could get very busy and noisy - this was when we enjoyed using the Serenity pool which was very quiet, relaxing and out of the way. The day spa and massages were also relaxing and soothing. We were already aware that there were no lifts to the upper floors, and this wasn't a problem at all (the staff offered to carry our bags up, but we were fine on our own). The resort was in walking distance to multiple restaurants, and a short bus ride from a Coles. Will hopefully be back again.

We are a family of six and absolutely loved Peppers and are planning to re-book for our next summer holiday. The 'beach pool' with swim up bar was absolutely stunning and a hit with our children (aged between 2 and 17) and adults alike. On the negative side, the rooms need a facelift - the rooms look tired with outdated heavy and dark furnishings, and the lighting within the rooms and bathrooms is poor. However, the rooms are very clean which is an absolute credit to the cleaning staff. Our overall experience however, was brilliant. The staff was friendly and helpful and happily assisted with any requests or recommendations for daytrips or dining. We highly recommend the resort and look forward to going back again.
