"Beautiful old building but leaky shower, hair dryer set off the fire alarm, bath linens were not replenished adequately, worst lighting in a bathroom of any hotel i have ever stayed. Restaurant was nice. The pool was beautiful but only one of the three umbrellas was in working order."

"Great location. Right in the downtown area. Hotel was safe. There's a desk person all day every day and at night you need to buzz the ringer to get let in. It gave a wonderful feeling of safety. The rooms got cleaned every day. I only wished it had A/C since I'm from the Midwest. I'm not fond of the warm weather without A/C to sleep. Besides that everything was wonderful."
