"Breakfast was good but could be a little chaotic at busy times. Would prefer more non-buffet options at lunchtime (the bar does have a small but acceptable menu). Loved the golf, table tennis, chess, entertainment (all free). Rooms were very good & clean. Parking could be a bit tricky to find a space. Not impossible- just could take a while. Staff all very helpful in all areas. Pool areas were good - but outdoor pools were cold (end of May/early June). Overall, good value and somewhere I’d recommend to friends… but probably wouldn’t return because I prefer to visit restaurants outside the hotel rather than all-in experience."

"Casa Bonita captured our hearts and we all revelled in our time there. Such a cosy comfortable space with all you could ever need. The views were unparalled and we made constant use of the outdoor space along with the pool. Everything was immaculate and kept to a high standard. Very comfy beds. Great WiFi. Excellent kitchen amenities. Stunning panorama from the airy dining room. Best of all was the almost constant bird song and the chance to watch the swallows swooping. It felt like Paradise. We also enjoyed using the tennis courts which were readily available during our stay in mid May. Communication with Per Arne and Karin was exceptionally good and they helped with numerous enquiries from us. We also appreciated the excellent recommendations made by them and in the information pack for local visits. The villa is in a beautiful area and we loved that it is off the main tourist trail but with so much to do and see nearby. We popped down into Salobrena several times to explore and also for shopping and to visit restaurants. We also visited Almunecar Friday market and also the botanical gardens, explored Motril, and the Bio dome Granada which was well worth the trip. We were taken with how friendly locals are and we felt so welcome everywhere. We have been home 4 days and are missing it all very much. We can't wait to return again."

"A stunning property on the hillside above Salobrena. Las Vistas was clean and very well equipped for our week long stay. We had a lovely time there and spent a good deal of it admiring the fabulous view. It could get a bit breezy at times but I’m sure this wouldn’t be a problem in summer. A car is a must for a stay here as it is situated on the side of a very steep hill, hence the wonderful views. Communication with Claude the owner was good."

"This villa with its amazing views of sunrises and sunsets was a memorable part of our vacation in Southern Spain and Portugal. We were 3 couples from California traveling together, so the 4 bedroom villa was roomy and fit all our needs perfectly. Caretakers Liz and Barry welcomed us warmly on arrival and helped us figure out logistics including nearby grocery stores and restaurant options. One minor inconvenience that future travelers should be aware of is the absence of any shower gel or bath soap in any of the bathrooms, despite the online listing stating that basic soap is provided. We recommend this beautiful home to groups like ours looking for a relaxing break."

"We had a wonderful stay at Casa Girasol, the villa is very nice and spacious. Liz and Barry who looked after it for the owner, Debbie, were wonderful and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area giving us great tips on where to eat and beaches to visit. Great views and a great location and not too far to drive to the Spanish resorts of Almuñécar, Salobreña and Nerja and definitely worth a visit to Granada. We stayed here at the time of the UK air traffic control problems and were forced to stay another 3 days in Spain, no bad thing with Debbie the owner being very accommodating, we were able to stay in the villa until our rescheduled departure. We thank her very much for this, it made a potentially painful experience a much less stressful one. We would definitely return."

"Quiet location, very well equiped Managers were able to sort two issues very quickly. The outside space is great but for a premium property the pool terrace sun loungers could do with a lick of paint and some new cushions. And enough loungers for the number of guests. The cheap plastic chair and table does not match the quality used on the upper terrace. But appart from that we had a lovely stay."
