The staff is incredibly helpful and willing to please you with answers about any concerns or curiosities you have for the town and close areas. The location is perfect. Cleanliness is spotless. The room was ample and the beds very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with abundant and many cold or hot choices. We regret we could not stay more days and enjoy this gem of a hotel in Almunecar. "A great quiet place but difficult to find parking. Be prepared to walk a bit uphill when you do locate the parking garage. We stayed one night and it was nice. The bed could have been more comfortable (a bit lumpy). We found places to walk and restaurants close by. "

"Despite bad weather we had a good stay. We stay here regularily out of season for the warm indoor pool and big jacuzzi. The food is not as good as it used to be but is acceptable. Breakfast is good. We always stay in a suite nowadays. Furnishings tired but if the rooms were improved im sure the prices would shoot up. A 'spanish family' style, friendly, welcoming hotel. Always same staff. "

"The apartment itself was lovely, very impressive. Clean and well laid out. The only issue I have is that I booked the apartment in part because of the facilities - and no where did it mention that the hotel (and therefore the facilities) were closed! So no bar, no cafe, no pool... Having said that, the apartment really was very nice and we'd stay again."

"Beach front location in quiet village. Lots of lovely places to eat. Right on the edge of a national park. Some very good walks. Beach Is a mix of pebbles and sand. Plenty of sun loungers for rent if needs be."
