"This is a very impressive renovation that provides plenty of character and comfort. It is great for larger groups and has plenty of public and private space. The location is good and we were able to access various towns and sites with minimal travel: we also had a wonderful meal prepared by a local cook reccomended by our host. "We enjoyed our stay in this spacious house and especially liked the garden seating area in the morning and the upstairs balcony for sunset views in the evening. The hosts were very helpful and kind and even lent us their coffee machine. It was great just for relaxing but there are places to see nearby and we were very impressed with Mozia island and the Salt pans. The cycle track outside meant you could walk or cycle in safety. The property is secluded from everything and even more beautiful than in pictures. The house is tastefully renovated, fully equipped and the pool offered us a nice refreshing moments. "This house was beautiful and the pool was fantastic but the road to the house was very dangerous and guests definitely need a four wheel drive to get to the house. The house was a bit spooky at nights. Top floor was very noisy and everything shook when you moved and lots of noise from rats in the walls, and birds and shutters moving... so a bit scary for my taste. However Paolo was super nice and took very good care of us."

Good points: enough space for 4 adults because of 2 separate bedrooms, very clean, all necessary equipment, nice green yard with small children playground, outdoor area with a barbecue zone, cooperative and helpful host. Could be better: would be great to have at least basic essentials like a soap, internet signal was poor, instructions how to avoid problems with...

"As a family, we had a great time at this villa. You will definitely need a car to travel around the island - but ensure that your rental isn’t too large as many roads in Sicily are narrow! "The villa is in need of some modernisation and decluttering. It was not clean in a number of rooms and smelled musty. It is also very dark Inside the property. However there was a modern sofa , good mattresses and a smart TV, so it was very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped, with great coffee machine options. Could do with a knife sharpener or sharp knives. However the outside space with the pool and jacuzzi is really great. We loved eating outside. The host is lovely. He made us food...
