"Before continuing, I need to point out the property we stayed at was a lovely villa, part of a community os identical units. It was lovely but it is NOT the photo above. It was very confusing driving there: while getting higher up the mountain, it was decidedly not going to be the photo of property booked. This should be corrected. Really. Otherwise, the place was lovely and well located a 10 ish walk down to beach. We never did find the pool."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Casa das Andorinhas, the house is delightful, loved the decor throughout and it had everything we needed. Felt like we were locals! It is also in a great location, near to the marina, old town and the beautiful beaches. You can walk to all of the amenities. We didn’t have a car but caught the bus to Porto de Mos and Sagres which were both really nice days out. The train station is also very near and we got the train back to Faro for our flight. "This property is exceptional beautiful property - perfectly located away from the hustle and bustle of downtown with amazing view of Ocean, short walk to beach and yet close to Old Town Lagos (7 min Uber drive) and close to all major sites. Joana was a great host – courteous and quick to respond to a few questions on our arrival. In short, we had a super stay - Wow!"

"Nancy was a great host and lovely to speak with. The apartment is beautiful and is in a great location, walking distance to everywhere you want to go but far enough that the area is very quiet at night for a restful sleep. As a solo traveller I felt very safe and comfortable. I would highly recommend staying at this wonderful apartment and will be staying again in the future!"

"Great host, very accommodating. Although rustic the accommodation was really well equipped. Enjoyed the games room and the lakeside beach. We didn’t get time to use the kayaks, but they were available to use. Enjoyed the boulle’s and amazing views and it’s a great place to get off the beaten track. It is reached by a long and bumpy road, it’s well worth it to relax."

"We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely beach house. The deck was a great place to hang out. The house was comfortable and well stocked- nice beach towels and a complimentary bottle of wine. "The house was in a neighbourhood with lots of walking trails and basic amenities. Close to a lake and the beach. The house is spacious and in the summer the pool would be nice. The washing machine is in the garage and works well. The local people who check you in and manage the place are delightful and responsive. Overall it was a lovely stay."

"This hotel is very beautiful, the rooms are big, comfortable, the shower is amazing (excellent water pressure), the restaurant is great, staff is very nice and helpful. My only complaint is that the USB charging slots were not working, but when I talked to the staff they provided me with an adapter so I could use the regular outlet. Great hotel, would definitely stay there again!"
