"This was our second stay and had a great time. The host and staff are wonderful. The location is terrific right on the beach with your own pool and 10-minute drive to a marina to go deep sea fishing. "

"The place was just fantastic, it had everything yet a minimalistic feel to it. The trek up the hill is a bit high but you get used to it. Now let's get to what I thought was THE MOST fantastic view of the gulf! Your could sit there for hours in awe of this view. The pictures do not do capture this, you really need to be there to view it in all its glory. Don't think about it, just go for this property. "Our family, six adults and three children. From the time we arrived until we tearfully left, it was pure heaven. Property is gorgeous, Debbie, Jairo and crew made all our requests a reality from scheduling tours, airport shuttle and numerous other requests. We spent the majority of time relaxing by the pool. Carols, Gina and Tatianna were the absolute best. A few tears were shed when we left"

"Mariposa Villa was very clean, all systems and appliances were working well, and the property manager attended to our needs very responsively. Our stay was restful and restaurants nearby were fantastic. "Although in a beautiful location, this home needs some work. Two of the guests felt so uncomfortable that they left for a hotel! Overall, most of us was ok, but some details such as pics of all the rooms on the listing and status of electronics should have been detailed accurately!"

"This house is SO special. The art is stunning. Each room had a different feel and meets a different need. The kitchen was fully stocked for wonderful cooking experiences. The host and the staff were so kind, helpful, and welcoming. The six of us had dance parties, pool parties, dinner parties, lots of quiet time, and connection time. We absolutely loved our stay and have zero complaints. "

"I really enjoyed the location of Hotel South Beach as the beach itself was less rocky then going south or north. There is a surfing school right on the beach front and the staff at the school was so amazing. The staff at the hotel were extremely kind, fun and always pleasant. The rooms are basic, but that is all I needed in this wonderful environment. It is walking distance to the down town, El Miro hike and the famous Jaco sign...I even extended my holiday!! Thank you to Hotel South Beach staff for making my trip so memorable!"

"Absolutely breathtaking view!! The suite with the side yard, is worth the extra money. You have privacy, and there was iguanas we feed fruit. Not sure if you’re supposed to, but they loved it. We will definitely go back!! If I remember correctly, if you click on Google maps from your Expedia emails it won’t take you directly there but it takes you pretty close. Then we actually had to type in the name if the place in Google maps or Waze to get us there. The driveway is pretty steep, and tricky if someone is coming in or out at the same time, so just beCareful. I did think they had room service, and wanted to do that one morning but you actually have to call the restaurants that are on the list that is given in each room and they deliver. Not a huge biggie, we did Steve’s restaurant every morning, they have a great breakfast! We tried the massage place that’s in the book in the room as well, and they were awesome with great prices!! Everything and everyone was amazing!! I was very pleased!! "
