We had a great stay, convenient location, clean rooms and pleasant staff. The only drawback we found were that the walls were quite thin so noise from other rooms was audible with our door closed.

Booked very last minute, late at night, due to a family emergency requiring a stay in Calgary. Got to the hotel and the door was locked to the building with a phone number to contact for check-in. Called multiple times with no response and was forced to book somewhere else - was then refused a refund for this issue. This was absolutely unacceptable and would recommend avoiding this location due to poor communication alone.

Never again......Disgust

This is a horrible place to stay, very gross rooms as we found left over clothing and other personal belongings. Toilet backed up in our room and our neighbors, Staff kept our damage deposit for smoking even though we went outside and disposed of our cigarettes in a can due to no ashtrays.

Very quiet and room is dark; great for sleeping. Access to streaming TV. Full kitchen looked newer. Beds are comfortable. Maintainance is lacking in room 402. All facets are loose, water damage in bathroom, stains on walls, bathroom fan turns on but doesn't do anything, Airconditioner filter is very dirty, Bathroom sink drawers are dirty (inside and out) kitchen island looks like it will fall over (screws not put in properly).

DO NOT STAY HERE! IT IS UNSAFE! We went to book in and was advised we could park on the street as it was a weekend. We were leary as there was an altercation in the lobby with them trying to remove someone and 2 others standing in the doorway. There was another just outside as well loitering. It was obvious they were all impaired and on drugs with their behaviour. While trying to decide what we wanted to do a man opened the passenger door and tried to oull me out, I was able to get the door closed and as my husband tried to pull away he opened the back door where my dog was. My husband had to run around and try to get the door closed. I started honking the horn and my husband was able to shove him away, close the door and run around to drive away. When we reported this to reception as we wanted our money back due to our safety concerns. He was adamant we return. After voicing our concerns yet again he was extremely rude and ended up hanging up on me. We tried to speak with him again and was met with rudeness and aggressive language. We attempted to call the next day to speak with someone else and were again greeted with rudeness, refusal to refund the money and hung up on us despite us trying to explain we just wanted to voice our concerns. We were advised afterwards that was increase in homelessness in the area and this has been an ongoing issue. We were never at point advised of this.

Too many “House Rules”

I didn’t appreciate the condescending “House Rules” which included not staining any white linens. I felt anxious about accidentally leaving a makeup stain or something and having to pay for it. Wouldn’t stay here again.

What I liked about this property was the location - very close to a lot of stores, right across from Safeway. Front desk staff were very kind and even helped out when there was a small leak in the ceiling ventilation. They had it fixed right away. Bed was very comfy. It was nice that they also included a free simple breakfast.

i love that it feels like home, it's VERY clean! the rooms are better than what the hotel looks like. I would stay there again for sure. I dont like the parking... it's pretty sketchy as it is behind the hotel in an alley, but it does the work. I was just a little concerned that soemone would break in my car. Overall this hotel is great, it includes a whole kitchen, utensils.. the only thing that i did not like is that we had to leave everything how we found it or else they would charge us extra. So if he left a cup unclean they would charge you extra.. and since this is a hotel.. i guess that shold be included.

Hotel was clean and room was nice but walls are paper thin and can heat everyone coming and going from their rooms and even from the main door. I would not stay here again.

Not a 3 star hotel by any means

Many disappointments with my stay, my room was advertised as a queen sized but was barely a double, area was kinda sketchy. NOT somewhere for a romantic get away by any means. The rooms were very clean though and the service was very friendly and hospitable but the hotel itself is clearly meant for "1 night stays"

Penalties and fines - be careful

Room was nice but not very friendly front desk staff. Room had many rules that included fines for many different things. One rule was can't have dish washer running when you check out?? Of course, I ended up breaking a wine glass and they charged me $5!
