We had a fun stay at this accommodation. It was a perfect location to be in, close to downtown, amenities, Hwy 1 going to west or Banff. Kids and family had a fun time playing in the set up of the basement, with the games and rooms were decent size and clean. Host was easy to communicate with and all was ready when you check in. A+++

The customer service here is truly amazing very attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. On top of that, the neighborhood is calm and peaceful, which makes the whole experience even better.

Unfortunately, this property was very different from what the listing photos suggested. The beds were essentially two foam mattress toppers on a steel frame and were extremely uncomfortable. The hot tub had visible debris, and we found blood on a pillowcase. When we reported it, we were told that perhaps we had bled on the pillow, which was extremely disappointing. The property also had holes in the flooring, gauges in the walls, painters tape over the thermostat, and long blonde hairs on the dining chair covers. The coffee machine did not work, and the kitchen soap dispenser had to be taken apart to get soap out. Communication was a major issue. I messaged Wednesday before even leaving home, followed up twice Thursday, and received no response until Saturday afternoon—only after Expedia attempted to contact the property. The listing photos are heavily overexposed and misleading compared with the actual condition of the property. Other issues included tiny TVs, minimal kitchen utensils, only two dish towels and no dishcloths. Overall, the cleanliness, comfort, maintenance, misleading photos and lack of communication made this a very disappointing stay. We would not ever stay here again. The property disputed everything. I have a video of the coffee machine not working but can not upload it.

Absolutely terrible experience from start to finish. The problems began before we could even get into the property. The door code provided did not work, leaving us locked out after a long day of travel. We struggled to get ahold of anyone and finally received a response after 8 PM with a different code that worked. Once inside, the condition of the house was shocking. The property was dirty, outdated, and poorly maintained. We arrived late and hungry only to discover the dishes, utensils, and cookware were filthy, meaning we had to wash items before we could even eat. There was debris inside the cupboards, the bathroom was gross, and the bathroom lights did not work. The beds were unbelievably uncomfortable — cheap steel frames with thin mattress pads where you could feel every metal bar underneath. The hot tub was completely unusable. We specifically booked a place with a hot tub, and this one had visible debris floating inside and slimy water. We refused to go in it. Other issues included tiny TVs, barely any toilet paper supplied, and old games with missing pieces. The listing photos were extremely misleading compared to reality. Honestly, I would have felt more comfortable staying in a downtown hostel than this rental. Hotels.com should seriously inspect this property before continuing to allow their brand to be associated with it.
