Beautiful one bedroom suite

The one bedroom suite was great, very nicely decorated and layout. The neighbourhood was not very nice. Wasn’t able to park in parade so I had walk always for free parking. The suite was very warm and the heat didn’t seem to be adjustable by the thermostat. I was able to check in early which was awesome but they weren’t answering the phone so I had to drive to office to confirm it was ok. Wifi also did not work. Overall very nice suite to stay in.

We went down for the ccmas and stayed here there was a mix up with maids and we had to get ready in the dirty room so we were ready for the concert the maid wasnt there till 5 we check in at 2, then we left and for got a straightener there and they wont send it to us even cod. Overall the place was nice but the way it was run was horrible and will never stay there again or recommend it.

fully equipped condo at a great price

This is a great condo in a very walkable area In a secure building. the bed was really comfortable, and I was pleasantly surprised to see the balcony And the washer and dryer. I left with clean clothes for once. The contact people were professional polite and helpful. I would stay there again. A good deal at a great price.

Great Little Spot

Overall - was a great experience. The management staff I met were accommodating and great to deal with. The location itself definitely needs some deep cleaning and detailing. I’d recommended or return for sure.

With a new bed and a key fob.....

Only one key fob which was awkward for us. Bed was very uncomfortable. Washing machine drained water onto the floor. No black out drapes in the bedroom. Building hot tub and gym were great. Very clean.

The checkin process was normal but unfortunately the condo was not. The building is rundown and the individual suite was worse. The unit I rented had closet doors that were fallen down before we walked through (they noted). Walls had giant cracks throughout. Wifi password was not correct. Kitchen cabinets were falling apart. Very disappointed and will not recommend to anyone.

I loved the location as it was close to where we needed to be (big four building) but across the street was a drunk tank drop off which was not mentioned anywhere in the listing. When we arrived, we were greeted by an overdosing man outside the front entrance who was promptly picked up in an ambulance about 30 minutes later, then dropped off 15 feet away to one of the drunk tanks / half way houses straight across the street. There was only one key, which made it really difficult for groups of people even only with two people to come and go without eachother. Parking was an extra cost, even though the stall was assigned to the room. There were not enough towels, and the ones that were provided still had makeup on them from I'm assuming previous guests. The bed was more comfortable than some places I've stayed, blankets were warm and living room was cozy! Kitchen was wonderful & fully stocked but an extra blankets would have been nice as there isn't a front desk. We were also asked to leave the single key in the room, however you are required to key to use the elevator, exit the parkade and enter the building and can't do any of that by yourself. Makeing checkout extremely difficult.

I would have given this place 5 stars. Great view, nice layout and the beds were fine. One matress of the 2 was really firm but the other was perfect. One parking is available whoch is to be expected. Parking on the street for a friend to come over is a little expensive though. The reason I rated it poorly was because of the media centers. Looks like they have telus tv but do not. Unless you bring your own media decice to plug into the TV you cannot use the TVs. Along with cables running everywhere just looks tacky for sucb a nice condo unit. Chalk it up to the owners being to cheap to fix it I guess.

We stayed at Vetro Suite Digs to be close to the BMO Centre in Calgary for a trade show. The location was convenient, however, the suite needed a good cleaning and updating. There were a number of deficiencies we noted, but in speaking with management following our departure, they indicated they will undertake to resolve. Hope they do, so that the next group isn't as disappointed.

Good Location - Bad Unit and Service Response

The location was great for access to the BMO Center/Stampede Park. There were several very good places to eat within a 10 minute walk. WIFI so-so. The security was excellent for access to both parking and to the unit. We felt very secure. However.... When we finally spent the first evening in the unit, we discovered several very disconcerting items. 1) There were no blinds or shades on the living room area or in the bedroom. We found an extra sheet in the unit and hung it up to get privacy in the changing area of the unit. Being in the City, the bedroom remained quite light all night. And, we had to keep the lights off or very low in the evening to keep out prying eyes. 2) Keeping the lights low was not too difficult. Half of the bulbs were burned out. And for several of the fixtures, they had low luminescent CFL bulbs. 3) When we checked in, we placed items in the refrigerator and freezer. That evening, we found that the refrigerator and freezer were not working. We used the patio and had to bring them in from time to time to keep from freezing. We called the management the first evening and informed them of the issues. They said they would get maintenance on it. Nothing happened during our stay. After we returned home, we tried to contact the management company via phone and email for compensation or credit on the stay. As of this review, we have not received any response other than they will look into it. We are not happy campers!

The check in process was kind of sketchy. After we missed our scheduke check in time bu about 20 minutes, it took us several phone calls and finally had to call hotels.com to get an answer out of the owners. Then the refridgerator was broken and we could not store cold items.
