Villa Bellissima is set below the village of Estreito da Calheta, Calheta. The nearest facilities, a café, can be found only 500 m away. Close by (400 metres away) is also a trendy bar, Pukiki, which serves a great selection of rum based cocktails.
The Village centre is only 1.2 km away and there you can find three café/restaurants and the pharmacy.
The nearest minimarket is only 950m away.
It is 3 Km to the resort town of Calheta, with its man-made golden sandy beach. Here you will, find a selection of cafés, restaurants, a larger supermarket, the marina (boat trips can be arranged), banks and a chemist.
A 10-minute drive will take you to either of the two surfing meccas of Jardim do Mar and Paul do Mar, at sea level and with trendy café-bars (try the caipirinhas and mojitos).
Funchal is an easy 40-minutes’ drive and the airport less than 50 minutes along the motorway.

Cleaning
Cleaning and linen change is provided every 7 days.
All linen and towels are provided, including towels for the swimming pool.
For health reasons, linen for a baby cot is not provided and you should bring your own.
Guests need to vacate the villa during a mid-stay clean and change of linen.

Booking Notes
The rental value varies with the number of people occupying the property, so please ensure you enter the correct dates, number of adults, children and infants. Please note that supplements apply should additional people join you for any length of time.
To secure your reservation we require a 30% deposit, or the full amount if you are arriving within 8 weeks. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival.
A security deposit of 500€ is required by credit card prior to check-in.
Final details for check-in and driving instructions to the property will be sent 7 days prior to arrival and once you have paid your balance. A contact number will be provided, and to be able to access the property, you need to phone this number as you are leaving the airport. It is your responsibility to contact and advise the number provided on the check-in details to advise any delays to the expected check-in time.
Check-in times - at the property - are between 16H00 and 19H00. For Sunday arrivals and out of hours check-in, alternative arrangements will be made, and an additional cost will apply. Check-in and check-out flexibility will be applied where possible, but this will depend on housekeeping schedules and the departure and arrival days of other guests either side of your stay; a definitive answer can only be provided within 24 hours of your arrival for check-in and of your departure for check-out.

If you have a car and are driving to your villa or apartment, please follow these instructions. Using GPS will take you via old and less easy roads and unusual locations:
Leaving the airport take the motorway (Via Rápida) West in the direction of Funchal and after this to Ribeira Brava. Travel for 34. Km.

When you reach the end of the motorway (approximately 35 minutes) keep on the right hand lane and follow the signs to Ribeira Brava – Ponta do Sol.
The slip road will lead you to a roundabout. Take the first exit to Ribeira Brava and drive towards the sea for 1,4Km. You will reach another roundabout. Take the 1st exit into the tunnel and you will now carry on for 3,9Km until
