Modern/chic quiet stay with beautiful partial ocean-view

Stayed in this beautiful modern home with my friend. We had some trouble locating this unit as it is slightly hidden from the main road and the address does not bring you to the door front. We were greeted by the owner just 5-10min after our scheduled check-in time. It was more than enough space for the two of us, so it will definitely accommodate a small family of four, a family of 3 adults/2 children, or a group of 3-5 friends comfortably. The two washrooms on both levels were convenient to have, kitchen had all of the basic needs we required to make simple breakfasts, and the very clean/brand new bath towels are always a treat! The laundry room was unexpected (just a washer) and a nice to have for longer stays (soap included). The patio dining space and the mini balcony on the second floor were my favourite areas of this home. The only two things we encountered were the ants in the kitchen upon arrival, to which the host quickly came by and to remedy with effect pest-control (ants were gone in 2 days); we also encountered a giant cockroach in the kitchen that we were not able to get rid of. Overall very quiet stay in Calheta and would highly recommend if you are looking for some serenity.

Great place to stay while exploring the island

My spouse and I stayed here for a 10 day honeymoon trip and would gladly return. Location was very convenient, the house was very clean and had great amenities- the laundry room was a big plus and we enjoyed the view from the upstairs balcony. The extra dining/kitchen space was amazing, and would be great if you’re traveling with family/a group
