The house is a beautiful south facing and charming holiday home located in beautiful surroundings overlooking the Provencal countryside and within 10 minutes walking distance of the town of Callas in the heart of Provence. Enjoy the beautiful pool area, the garden and the house with family and friends surrounded by nature and a beautiful panoramic view.

Beautiful house and gardens. Spectacular views and so relaxing. Pool was excellent, clean and deep and refreshing in the hot weather. Aircon in the bedrooms and living room worked well but main house naturally stays cool. Local town is lovely and easy to walk to with very good bakery and places to eat out. Sophie and Sebastien are very welcoming and flexible when we needed to change our arrival day. There is plenty of crockery and cooking equipment for meals. Relaxing family holiday with pool and so many places to sit in the gardens you could always find shade or sun. Steps to the lower bedroom are steep and can be tricky if you are not steady on your feet but there is a hand rail. The final track up to the house from the main road is bumpy gravel and steep with a tight turn to the gate -which took a little getting used to and we were grateful we were in an SUV. WiFi worked well everywhere and mobile signal good too. Fabulous sunset and saw swifts and bats swooping over the terrace. Highly recommend

Our stay was just the peaceful, relaxing get-away we were looking for. The pool area is secluded and tranquil and the villa has many different places to sit and chill to suit the mood. The short walk down into the town of Callas is worth it for the local bakery and a handful of restaurants. Sophie and Sebastien made us feel very welcome on our arrival and were full of helpful suggestions on places of interest in the local area and further afield.

Wonderful holiday. Lovely house, beautiful gardens and amazing pool. Sebastian and Sophie, the hosts, were a huge help, extremely unobtrusive but full of information and suggestions if required. Would highly recommend and would love to return another time.

Lovely stay in a lovely house!

We spent a wonderful week in this beautiful house which had plenty of room for our family of 5. The pool and outside areas were peaceful and relaxing and there was plenty to do if we wanted to go out and about. Highly recommend!

Another fabulous stay at Callas House

Returned for 2023 after an excellent vacation here in 2022. Two weeks of peace, relation and comfort in this beautiful property. Extremely hot the first week (98F/37C) but the aircon worked well and the large pool was a pure delight. The pool is large, deep and ideal for those who want a proper swim, not just a plunge pool. Local shops are well stocked, great boulangerie that serves fresh croissants and baguettes every day, and actually some lovely locally made ice-cream and sorbets too. Would love to return again.

Beau comme sur les photos.

Très beau jardin sans vis à vis avec une belle piscine non chauffée. Vue superbe sur plusieurs kilomètres. Très calme. Maison charmante avec la climatisation dans toutes les chambres et dans la pièce principale. Dans le petit centre ville à 15 min à pied / 5 min en voiture, il y a plusieurs bar et restaurants, une boulangerie et un mini supermarché pour dépanner, une station essence et un bureau de poste. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette villa. Un grand merci à Sophie et Sebastien (le couple qui gère la location pour les propriétaires) pour leur accueil chaleureux et leur service attentioné.

Peaceful and private

A quiet house up a hill. Walkable to the village / bakery which was a plus for us. Lovely pool area- loved the donuts! Seb and Sophie who manage the house are so welcoming and helpful.

belle maison tres au calme

maison strictement fidèle aux photos et explications sur le site. Sophie et Sebastien qui nous ont accueillis étaient vraiment tres sympathiques et tres disponibles. notre lave vaisselle était tombé en panne ils nous l ont remplacé immédiatement . cette maison est dans un petit village un peu éloigné des grandes et moyennes villes, mais assez proche des gorges du Verdon et il faut environ 40 mn pour rejoindre la mer à Sainte Maxime or Frejus. Sinon le soir il vaut mieux rester à la maison car tout déplacement est assez long et les routes sont sinueuses et étroites et pas éclairées en montagne. C est vraiment pour passer un séjour au calme , loin de tout et surtout du stress de la vie quotidienne. tres agréable séjour au final

Enorm genoten van de rust, de verschillende terrasjes, het fantastische zwembad en het prachtige uitzicht. Het was heel warm maar door de prima airco was het overal in het huis heel aangenaam vertoeven. Dit is een toplocatie voor een stressloze vakantie.

Very nice and beautiful house.

The house is exactly as shown on the website and we loved staying there for 7 nights. The area is peaceful and beautiful so it is just to enjoy the holiday. Sophie and Sebastian were very friendly and helpful which made the stay just perfect.

Amazing stay, totally relaxing

This is a great vacation rental if you're looking for a relaxing, quiet and restful experience. The property is secluded and private, the grounds are well maintained and the pool is magnificent. It's easy enough to get into town for basic shopping needs, we ventured further when we needed to do a more substantial grocery shopping trip. The air conditioning is really essential and works well. We went as a couple but we could also see this as a great location for families. Would be very happy to return in the future. Great communication and support from our hosts during a delay caused by an air traffic control strike.

Callas House

I would highly recommend Callas House for a peaceful relaxing holiday. The villa was absolutely perfect, the pool and grounds were beautiful, with various seating areas to choose from. The villa was well equipped and comfortable, with air con in all of the rooms. The walk into the village was an easy 10 minute stroll, the restaurants were friendly and the local food good. It also had a great bakery and small super market which was very convenient. We were greeted by Sophie and Sebastian who could not have been more helpful with local information and recommendations of places to visit.

Superbe propriété

Au calme, bien arboré et fleuri, avec de nombreux endroits à l’ombre où se poser. Sans oublier le coin piscine, magnifique. Nous serions bien restés une semaine de plus dans cette maison parfaitement climatisée dans toutes les pièces, ce qui est un plus non négligeable. Accueil très sympa par les amis des propriétaires. Je recommande chaleureusement.

Heaven comes closer...

staying in this nice provence authentique house with near to modern interior. The nice view from terrace and lounge, the hidden garden treasures, nice pool, and all amenities left for our use was a great bonus for a lovely stay. Thanks to the owner for leaving its property in good faith! If you ever want to sell, I´ll listen 🙂.

Echte Provence

Von der Kommunikation, über den Empfang bis hin zum Haus war die ganze Erfahrung fantastisch. Wir haben tolle Ausflüge gemacht, am Pool gegrillt und gegessen und vor allem haben die Kinder ganz viel im Pool gespielt. Sogar unsere Sella hatte eine tolle Zeit. Und das Internet war richtig schnell! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

a Wonderful stay

This home is just the nicest place to stay in the area and made more special by having Sebastian and Sophie who manage the house on hand for anything you need to know. You will not be disappointed by arriving and thinking that what you booked is not what the house is! It is a wonderful home.
