The carpet was stained, The TV was hard to work. There is not enough power points and I did not realise that the fridge was not plugged in anywhere. The front office staff were the only ones I saw and they were excellent.

Beautiful, clean, practical cabins with own car park right at your doorstep. Friendly staff who were happy to provide fresh towels on request. Cabins had kitchenette which was very convenient. Situated right next to Calliope truck stop (servo and Maccas).

Convenient if travelling along the Pacific Way but 20mis drive to Gladstone. Bathroom far too small except for the shower recess which was adequate. The window had good security screens, but window was screwed fixed so could not obtain any fresh air. Air con was noisy and could not open the window inlieu of using the old air con.

Good location close to highway for those not wanting to go all the way into Gladstone. Cabin was good just had some external damage to the outside wall that hadn't been repaired but did not impact the inside amenities which were comfortable and fit for purpose.

After a long day driving , Comfort Inn Parklands was a home away from home with excellent accommodation, great dining and very friendly and helpful staff. Would thoroughly recommend as a place to stay.

Pretty old and tired. Says restaurant is open but apparently closed on Sunday nights. Booked through wotif and price said it included meals which we assumed would be breakfast. Staff on check in refused to accept this, so no food provided as advertised.

This motel is an ex-aged care facility and it still feels like one. Rooms are very dated, no bathrooms, there are shared bathrooms every 3-4 rooms and they are like a public bathroom. There is a kitchen with dining room adjacent, but from what we saw it looks like the dining is carried over from the aged care days. Parking is out the back and nowhere near your room, walls are thin so not real quiet either. However, it is located near the A1 (Bruce Hwy) so it is convenient, fuel and Maccas next door.
