"Positives: The cabin was super cute. The trail to Loch Leven lakes was a 5min walk away. Up the road (about a 10min walk) is a swimming hole. There was access to the river behind the house but not really a place to layout, I am also not sure if it was part of someone's property. Not so positives: I do wish there was screen doors on both the front and back doors to allow for a better breeze to come in. We also had issues with the hot water staying on. Day 2 we figured out you needed to run the sink first then the shower would stay hot. Water also leaked from the shower so we used an extra amount of towels to keep the floor dry, easy fix if silicone caulking is added. Other than that we loved the place and would definitely stay there again. "

"I booked this stay at the end of April for my husband’s birthday but also an excuse to hit the slopes one last time for the season. The property was clean, well maintained and absolutely beautiful. All of our guests were amazed and we had a blast using the jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and pool table. I loved how peaceful it was. Vladi was communicative and answered all of my questions. I would absolutely book this property again. All the rooms were spacious. Beds were comfortable but I personally didnt like the pillows as they were too high for my neck. We utilized the kitchen which had a huge fridge. Never seen a kitchen with three sinks and a huge range. The property was basically at the top of a hill, you can view Northstar from the back balcony. There are donner pass lift passes available for us as well. About a 30 minute drive from Palisades. "

"This was a well-laid out condo for the 4 of us who stayed on this visit, The view of Donner Lake with surrounding snow-capped mountains from the Living room is quite picturesque. Instructions from the owner were easy to follow. Centrally located with easy access to Truckee, Squaw and Royal Gorge. Safeway, stores, coffee, and restaurants are nearby or up to a 10 min. drive.Condo is on the second floor and has a nice layout with 3 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. Didn't feel cramped at all. Kitchen is nice and well-stocked with everything we needed. Per owner's words, this is not a high-end chalet where everything is absolutely perfect. It's homey and clean, sufficient linens and things work satisfactorily. We would stay here again"
