Master Bedroom: On second floor, with en suite full bathroom and a California King size bed
Guest Room: On first floor, has a Queen size bed
Bunk Room: On first floor, has a twin bunk over a full size bed
Loft: Two recliners to rest in after a fun day skiing, swimming, or hiking
Main Bath: Full bathroom on first floor adjacent to Guest Room and Bunk Room
Family Room: Great room concept - open to kitchen and dining room. Large, comfortable sofa and two arm chairs, 55' flat screen TV, cable, and DVD player.
Dining Room: Large family table with two benches and two chairs - plenty of space to gather around for family meals. Plus stools to sit at the "bar" that separates the dining room from the kitchen.
Kitchen: Open to dining room and family room. Well-stocked with everything you'll need to make delicious meals for your family. Gas stove and oven, dishwasher, new stainless steel refrigerator, and plenty of dishes, glasses, and silverware.
Mud Room: A bench and hooks make it easy to leave shoes, boots, and jackets in one handy place right as you come in the front door.
Laundry Room: Washer and dryer available for your use, right off the mudroom in a separate laundry room.
Front Deck: Enjoy a cup of coffee as the sun rises on the front deck in one of the red Adirondacks and eat at the outdoor dining table. Access the Front Deck from the new sliding glass doors in the Family Room.
Back Deck: Enjoy the peaceful view of the trees. The back deck is elevated, so you'll feel as if you're sitting in your own tree house back there! You can access the Back Deck through the Laundry Room or Bunk Room.
Two Car Garage: Large Two Car Garage - you will be really thankful for a garage to pull your car into in the winter when it is snowing!
Driveway is professionally plowed but they do not shovel the walkway. Shovels are provided in the garage for your use.

Great family cabin
This was the perfect cabin for our family and 2 dogs! Beds were very comfortable. Nice backyard deck for relaxing in the afternoon. Small kitchen but adequate for cooking simple meals. Great location. We hope to visit again

Cozy cabin
We had a really nice stay at this cabin. The location is great — right in Tahoe Donner. The neighborhood is quiet and we had nice walks in the area. We came for spring skiing and had both snow and a few days of warm temps — glorious. We’ve stayed at a bunch of places in this area and this one was well-sized for our family of 4. The rustic feel is very typical and matches the mountain setting. The games available were fun and the WiFi signal was strong for working while away. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed.

Perfect little getaway
My kids loved the house. They enjoyed playing out in the front with all the snow. The location was easy to find and close to downtown Truckee and Boreal.

Perfect way to spend Christmas with the family
Fantastic cabin! The host even provided us with a Christmas tree and decorations. Very clean, very stocked, everything a family of 4 plus Grandma and 2 dogs needed.

Great house and great location
We had a great trip in winter. The house was perfect for our family. It was well stocked, warm, had everything we needed, and the location was perfect. We enjoyed the Tahoe Donner sno-play nearby, and liked being near shops and grocery stores in town. The owner was easy to reach when we had a question and check in was easy. We would definitely come again!

beautiful home, poor communication with Prop Manager
The home was very nice, spacious, comfortable and as advertised. I give 1 star due to the poor interaction with the property manager who is attempting to charge me for water pipe damages. Upon checkin, the water was turned off. I called the prop manager but never got a response. We did find the water valve eventually. The checkout had much longer instructions than usual not only taking out trash, turning down heat, cleaning dishes, but stripping the bed, towels and putting all in the laundry, turning off the water. We completed all the tasks upon checkout day at 8:30am. 2 days later, the manager contacted me and claimed we did not turn off the water and the pipes froze and one of the balcony doors was open. She claimed that I would charged for the pipe damage. We definitely turned off the water and doublechecked it was turned off the way. We did not even touch the balcony door as the balcony was full of snow. I let the prop manager know we completed the checkout instructions as instructed and she should check with her cleaning crew. I do not appreciate the accusatory tone of the manager and trying to scam more money from reliable clients. I have contacted VRBO customer service who says we are not obligated to pay any additional fees as it is not part of the contract Do not stay at this VRBO unless you want a headache!!!!

Cute, Comfy & Cozy Cabin
Amy was responsive and amazing to communicate with. Check in/out was simple and the cabin was well stocked with everything we needed to eat our meals in over the weekend as well as some snow shoes and sleds in the garage for playing in the snow. The neighborhood is beautiful and easy to access. The cabin isn’t fancy but it made time with 5 adults and 2 young grandkids relaxed and stress free. We will definitely be back.

This is a great basic ski cabin in Tahoe Donner that is family and pet friendly. The property was clean and adequately equipped. Some furnishings and appliances are a bit dated. Please remember to bring your own wood.

Lots of potential, but disappointing, overall…
Here is an honest, comprehensive review to help Tahoe-Truckee visitors make an informed decision prior to booking. POSITIVES+ -Easy check-in -Good location - easy driving distance to Donner Lake/ eateries & shops in downtown Truckee -Nice neighborhood - surrounding homes were attractive/ appeared well-maintained -Comfortable queen beds downstairs & upstairs -Upstairs bedding appeared clean & freshly laundered -Towels were clean & plentiful -Laundry room was functional & much appreciated -Showerheads & drains functioned properly -Silverware was plentiful & in good condition -Coffeemaker functioned properly as did the stovetop, oven, & refrigerator -Dogs allowed ;-) we were grateful to be able to include our 2 canine girls on our trip NEGATIVES- Cleanliness & the usual amenities of a functioning household were lacking. We realized that our original plan to dine in most evenings was no longer a viable option. It was also a bit demoralizing to tend to necessary chores & repairs after our 10-hour drive from southern CA as indicated by the following examples: -No hot water - my boyfriend had to light the pilot to the water heater so we could shower after our long travel day -Dirty dishes in the dishwasher - my sister’s boyfriend owns a handyman service & quickly did troubleshooting under the kitchen sink to connect the water line to the dishwasher. -Cleanliness of bedding on downstairs bed was suspect; we laundered it & remade the bed the 1st night -Most surfaces were visibly dirty with built-up grime - I wiped down kitchen/ bathroom counters & faucets, toilets, light switches, tabletops, & windowsills upstairs & downstairs. Cleaning cloths were black with accumulated filth. (Btw, I elected not to clean/remove layers of dust and cobwebs from blinds, vents, or the circulating fans; which we avoided using) -Window lock broken in downstairs bedroom - access to fresh air during the night would have been welcomed -No full set of steak knives or wine glasses - we passed around one decent knife discovered in the kitchen drawer and a pocket knife from home to enjoy our dinner in! -No grill was provided as advertised - it would have been appropriate to provide a propane option or update the listing; we used the cast iron pan to prepare the steaks we intended to grill -Deck was covered in accumulated debris & railing in front was loose and not secured -Plastic Adirondack chairs on the deck were brittle & broken

Definitely was a relaxing get away with the fur babies. Could use some updating and a deep cleaning but otherwise it was great. Perfect location from downtown Truckee. We were able to ride our bikes there and back. So many bike trails if you like to bike!

Perfect cabin for the family vacation! Great location - quiet and relaxing!
The cabin was perfect for our family of 5 and a small dog. It is home away from home. The cabin was clean, and well kept. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, the kitchen is very well equipped, also the home has a large dining table for the whole family. There are a lot of board games in the living room - children liked it very much. They also loved a bunk bed. The mud room is amazing. It is big and warm. You can leave there all your snow clothes and boots, and they will be dry overnight. Amy was very responsive and provided all the instructions in a welcome letter. I didn't include a dog when booking, and sent message to Amy. She replied instantly with an additional payment. I really appreciate all the communication and immediate responses. Overall we enjoyed our stay. It is a great place for a family vacation. We would love to come back again to this place!

awesome time in truckee
property was extremely clean and well maintained. we had an excellent time. everything that you need was at the property. we had a problem with extremely icy walkway. we contacted the property manager and the eliminated the issue in a very short time. The location is only minutes away from all points of interest xcountry/boarding/fishing etc. I recommend this listing to anyone that is looking to have a good time in the tahoe area. Very well priced and taken care of. You really feel that you are walking into a family setting.

Everything was great and as listed. The only negative was that the house needed a little more attention in the cleaning process. Debris on the carpet, cobwebs throughout, and an unflushed toilet made me feel the cleaning deposit fee was more than we got out of it,

Nice dog-friendly cabin in a great neighborhood
This cabin was perfect for a long weekend getaway with our pup. Nicely equipped kitchen, very clean, and everything worked well. The loft was too full of furniture to be useful for us, and we didn't need or use the downstairs bedrooms. A larger family might find this cabin a bit crowded, but it worked great for the two of us humans + 1 large dog. I'd like to visit in warmer weather when the outdoor decks can be used (they are filled with snow right now). Would be great to add a reading lamp near one of the chairs for evening, when the natural light isn't available. Thanks so much for being dog friendly!

Amazing snow trip
Had a fantastic time playing in the snow with my family. Great location and beautiful surrounds. The fire place kept the cabin so warm. The mud room was awesome we could get out of our snow gear without making a big mess everywhere. Overall a great place for a family vacation.
