"Beautiful hotel near town with excellent SPA and restaurant food was great"

" Just Fabulous! It is difficult to put into words how wonderful this couple is and what they have created! Angela and Simone are the kindest most beautiful souls. The love they have for their home and project is second only possibly to the love and passion they have for life and the magic of Food! Once again it is difficult to put this into words. That being said we just returned from three weeks in Italy and we discovered, laughed and ate our way around this country and we did it well! The food in Italy is truly amazing, and I can say that without a shadow of doubt that the best food we had the entire time we were in this lovely country came out of Angelas Kitchen! This is no easy win. We had some incredible food experiences but Angela and Simone are hands down the absolute best. In our little group of late 40 year old adventurers, the discussions and consensus was that it was the best dinner anyone in our group had ever had..in life..period. (we live in Canadian wine and foodie country) Ok ok enough about food.I got sidetracked there. It happens. The property and amenities in this villa are 5 star. They truly have created an Oasis.I could go on about this but will not as I feel you only will appreciate this and deserve the oasis and kindness of these hosts if you take the leap!If you are looking for the best basecamp in Tuscany to explore and adventure around with your partner, family or friends then you found it. "Beautiful room with amazing views! Staff all amazing, friendly and happy! Bar service exceptional. Pool was lovely and very peaceful. Gardens amazing. Beach across the road with special rates for those staying at the hotel. Beach lovely and very shallow for quite a way. Food at hotel very good. Breakfast amazing serving hot and cold and lots of fresh fruits and cereals. Really loved staying at this amazing hotel and the lovely staff made it a lovely restful experience."

"The Peralta is a complex of renovated, historic, Italian cottages high in the Apuan Alps. It has charm, character and fabulous views but our apartment was still well-equipped (wifi, aircon, parking, kitchenette, lounge chairs and dining table) and had two bedrooms with comfortable beds. It was remarkable value and the hosts Kate and Blaise were charming, helpful with fluent English. Blaise collected our bags from the parking area in their Piaggio, booked us a table at a local restaurant and because it was getting late arranged with Kate for her to bring us bread, butter, milk, croissant and home made marmalade in the morning for our breakfast. The local area is so pretty. The pool is high up above the apartments with fabulous views. It has been such a relaxing holiday! The drive up the hill through narrow, twisting roads is not for the faint hearted but isn’t as bad as you may first think - you just have to drive at a steady but slowish pace and prepare for each turn (with a wide swing). We were upgraded to a larger car by our hire company which in hindsight wasn’t ideal but even this made it down the hill and safely back to the parking area every day. Top tip is to warn people you are approaching a switchback by using your horn. The area is beautiful but even in late September it has been well over 30C every day, meaning our original plans to visit Florence were replaced by nearer places (Lucca, Pisa and San Gilignano amongst others). "This is a really excellent property. The house is spacious, cool even in August and very quiet both in the day and the night. Perfect for a relaxing holiday. The views are incredible and the pool and outside eating area are better than the photos look. There is a nice BBQ which had plenty of gas. The only thing to be wary of is the very steep and narrow road up to the house. It is better to have a smaller car! "

"Our stay was UNBELIEVABLE! We chose “The Barn” for our visit. It was small but, packed with all of the charm of an quaint Italian farmhouse.The views from the saltwater pool made us speechless… we never tired of taking in all the beauty around us.The kitchen had all we needed to make our simple meals.The housekeeper was very conscientious to our needs. She spoke very little English but, the phone translator made it easy.If, you are looking for a quiet, somewhat remote area , with views that will blow your mind… this is perfect for you.We would definitely return and possibly try a different cottage on the property.Stefano has 4 different homes to choose from.He has kept the charm and original splendor to his property and we greatly appreciated our stay."

"Superb stylish villa with wonderful gardens and pool. Remote control gates added a great feel of security. Table under the pergola was superb for taking meals. We cooked outside all the time as the Bbq was excellent and the local shops, especially the Sigma, had a great variety of meat and a seafood counter where we bought squid and prawns etc. There is a larger Esselunga supermarket on John F Kennedy in Lido di Camaoire but once we discovered the Sigma there was no need to return. We would greatly recommend the Ristorante Antipasteria Katia Montebello on the end of Via Grotto just a few minutes walk from the Villa. We went there twice as the food and service was so good. We would recommend the villa for those wanting a home away from home experience - well appointed, extremely clean, comfortable beds, plenty of towels (including pool towels) supplied. Within easy driving distance of Lido Di Camaiore for the beach, Pietrasanta, Pisa and Lucca for sightseeing and shopping . Our hosts Donatella and her son Gabriel were very courteous with good communication."
