"Lovely accomodation with outside patio and shaded area. Cool for the summer and with underfloor heating to take the chill off the tiles throughout the year. A little noisy at night but it didn't spoil our week. The beach is about a 20 minute walk away and there are walks in the forest so you can walk for miles. Versilia Lido | UNA Esperienze

10/10 Excellent

"Lovely stay at Versilia Lido UNA Esperienze for 5 nights! The property is spacious and has a relaxed resort atmosphere. We were kindly upgraded to a large one bedroom apartment with a dining area balcony, which gave us plenty of space and we cooked in the apartment almost 5 nights stayed. One feature we really appreciated was the in room washing machine with a built-in dryer. When you are travelling for a longer period, having laundry facilities inside the apartment is incredibly convenient and makes a big difference. The staff were one of the strongest points of the hotel. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful, and Federica at the front desk deserves a special mention. She was warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming, and made us feel very well looked after from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was also very good, with fresh juices, a generous selection and plenty of healthier options. It felt fresh, well organized and more varied than many hotel breakfasts we experienced during our trip. The location is particularly convenient if you are travelling by car. Free parking is available within the resort, and there is a large supermarket only about four minutes away by car. Since our apartment included a kitchen, we appreciated being able to buy fresh ingredients and prepare some meals ourselves. Overall, the hotel feels bright, sunny and easygoing, with a friendly atmosphere that makes it enjoyable to return to at the end of the day."

"From the airport taxi driver the hotel had organised for us, the warm welcome,our room ready early.The receptionist who gave us lots of info, all so helpful and careing. The room was very very large.There was a small balcony which we did find a little disappointing but that was all.Clean towels etc plus housekeeping daily. The breakfast was great and did not close till 10am. The pool was clean and bar service so good planty of loungers. We would recommend this hotel as a lovely place to stay. Its near the beach and just a taxi ride to the station for trains to Pisa and Florence"

"This small hotel is real gem in a very good location just a short stroll from the beautiful beach of Camaiore. We travelled by motorcycle which we were able to park on hardstanding off the gravel courtyard. We were welcomed by the owner, a true Italian Nonna who could speak only a few words of English but that didn’t matter because we all understood each other nonetheless. She was very kind and helpful and showed us our room (20) which was probably the best in the building with a small balcony and distant sea view. It’s not a flashy hotel but it’s very homely and even has a lift and air con. Breakfast was typical Italian with lots of cake but also boiled eggs to keep us Brits happy. We loved this hotel and will definitely return if we come back to this region. Lido de Camaiore is a really nice resort and much less rowdy than its neighbour Viareggio. Wall to wall sunbeds on beach but we came in off season and it was just perfect."

"Wonderful hotel and a lot of parking, which is suitable for supercars. Swimming poo, breakfast sitting and the pool bar were excellent. The only disappointment was there was no coffee maker or a kettle in the room and the safe was very small, good to keep passports in but not much more. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and I would ho back again."

"Just left the villa after a wonderful week - 8 adults of varying ages and 2 children aged 7 and 10. The outside space is lovely with the large and clean swimming pool on a lower level. We all truly enjoyed relaxing and playing here as weather hot. The accommodation is spacious and characterful. Everyone slept well and showers are good. The kitchen has plenty of equipment, although where items are stored could be set up more user friendly,but in no way did it detract from our holiday. We had BBQs, ate outside on the large veranda to gorgeous views and sunsets. The recycling is something else but that’s controlled by local regulations. Overall we were all sad to leave and lived our time there."

"Like stepping back in time this little gem. Art deco style building with classics features. Room basic but had what we needed except for the loudest fridge ever! Stayed 3 nights with towels only changed upon request and beds made but not changed. Pool small but perfectly formed, few beds but never got busy. Great location for the beach. We paid €12 for breakfast but not the best as items were not restocked it would appear so go before 9am."
