"Wish we could have extended our stay here!! We only spent one night here and if I could re-plan my trip I would have spent at least another night (or longer if time allowed). The resort is amazing and the property is stunning! It offered amenities that we sadly didn’t have time to explore. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. The food was local and tasted wonderful! The wine was fantastic! The pool was beautiful (and cold but this was welcome on a hot day!). My only criticism is that check out was a bit early, at 10am. I don’t think 10am is that early but in our case we didn’t check in until 7:30pm the night before so it would have been nice to have a bit more time. In saying that, we were allowed to use the pool after check out, so this was a bonus! The staff were so friendly and they really made you feel welcome. "

"The most beautiful and magical place on earth. We video called every family member back home in Canada while at the hotel to show them the grounds. The hotel is nothing short of amazing. From the pools, to the gardens, doves, chicken, tennis courts, the walking paths and even an equestrian center. I am so sad that we did not have more time to spend there. 100+ recommend this property. My husband and I went for a before dinner drinks and the waiter brought us bread and oil and picked us fresh strawberries from the garden. Absolutely in love with this place and no hotel along our journey if Italy has compared. "

Not only was the place beautiful, but the family running it were amazing, very welcoming and accommodating! We so wish that could've stayed longer... This was the best part of our trip. "I had a great staying at Hotel Santo Stefano. The staff is absolutely wonderful; I travelled by public transport and they came to pick me up and take me back to the bus stop. The rooms are very spacious and confortable. The hotel has got a restaurant which is very handy when you have spent a day at the Archive and you are too tired to go out. Thumbs up for Hotel Santo Stefano!"
