"Had a wonderful stay at this well-equipped home away from home. It was cool to stay in a castle! Iacopo took great care of us - helping us with things we needed before we even go there. The place is close to many good restaurants and we drove to Chianti and Siena for a quick visit. The pool was a bonus especially sine we were there in August. I can imagine how wonderful this would be as a wedding or anniversary venue. "

"My husband and I chose Villa Maria to host both of our families and it was the perfect place for a very intimate wedding celebration (14 people total). Tommaso was an incredible host. He checked in on us throughout the week to make sure we had everything we needed. We needed a steamer, he ordered one and it was there the next day. He was kind enough to show us his olive grove near by and gave us lots of great information. Tommaso really enriched our Tuscan vacation with his wealth of knowledge and all of his recommendations. Chef Donato cooked two meals for us: a casual pizza dinner and a special 4 course menu for our wedding celebration. Every minute was incredible. The food was amazing and being able to enjoy the view from the outdoor dining table was perfect. Everyone loved walking down to the little market/coffee shop for breakfast and to pick up a few things for lunches. The tennis court was in perfect condition, the pool was fabulous and clean, and everyone enjoyed playing pingpong and pool. The AC in the bedrooms was amazing and the newly renovated bathrooms were a nice surprise. We can't say enough good things about our stay at Villa Maria! Would highly recommend and look forward to visiting again soon. "

"Very nice place, well accommodating staff. Restaurant at the property, owner very happy friendly gentleman. Near to about 4 km down with grocery store, planty of restaurants and pizza places. So what you need is a good book, sun glasses, sunscreen, time for your self and loved one. Property has a nice patio, natural swimming pool to have romantic glass of wine and enjoy de dolce vita. You can do day trip to Florence about 45 minutes, or relax at the property. A lot of old towns around to be lost in the time, appreciate our time and hospitality. Owner is a nice guy, willing to help and going an extra mile go best serve and accommodate needs of the customer. So as Canadian customer, we recommend that place. "
