  • Surrounded by breathtaking views, Villa Maria is perched on a private hillside overlooking the Chianti region and the Arno Valley. Built in the early 1800's this lovely villa is located in the Tuscan region where the highest quality of olive oil is produced. The living room, with palladium windows, boasts magnificent views. Just steps outside lay a west facing stone terrace that beckon you to sip Chianti Classico and enjoy evenings of brilliant sunsets. A gorgeous 45-minute drive through the rolling hills of Tuscany will take you directly to Florence. If you wish to travel by train the nearest station is just 10 minutes away. Travel time by train to Florence is 25 minutes. Your nearest village, Fronzano, in the county of Reggello, is a 5 minute walk down your very own aisle of cypress trees. In Reggello, a 10-minute drive, there is everything you need to make your life authentically Tuscan.

Great overall property and views. The house is classic Tuscan and the facilities are great. While the house is in a small area next to other houses, we were able to enjoy the pool and tennis court uninterrupted.

The villa and property was spectacular and immaculate. We were warmly greeted by our host upon arrival and given a comprehensive introduction of the property and necessary information. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated and the bedding was very comfortable. All of the bathrooms had new fixtures , hand painted walls and it felt like a personal spa on each floor. The pool was immaculately maintained by our host. Every need was anticipated-from pool floats to a pool house with a fridge and separate bathroom / shower. The flowering plants and trees around the villa were absolutely beautiful and fragrant. We felt pampered as if we were at a five star resort. Our hosts olive oil was delicious and we would highly recommend hiring the personal chef ( Donato) to cook a meal or two. The meals we had were exceptional. Our host was friendly , responsive , attentive and respectful of our time and privacy. I would highly recommend staying at Villa Maria and hope to return with my family in the future.

Everything met or exceeded our expectations. We had a wonderful stay at this magnificent villa. The house, the pool, the tennis court were all sensational. Clean, beautifully maintained, private and good location. Host/owner was very accommodating too. Highly recommended!

Amazing days in Tuscany

We stayed in Villa Maria for couple days on Jul-2024 and were amazing days. The villa is as beautiful as we can see on the images, well located and very cozy. Tomasso is a great host and was always available for helping us with anything we needed. He also provided good tips for restaurantes and places around the villa. Amazing place. Will defintelly visit again.

50th Wedding Anniversary Family Celebration

Everything was wonderful from the beautiful villa in a gorgeous setting to the delicious dinners prepared and served by chef Donato at the villa, to our awesome host Tomaso, to the sweet little town at the end of the lane. Perfecto!

Location the BEST!

Walk 5 minutes to a village with grocery store or simply sit by the pool to enjoy the view. This villa has it all! Our family of 10 (adults and kids) spent 2 weeks at Villa Maria and would recommend it for its amenities and location. The host, Tomasso, and chef, Donato, were the ultimate guides and helpers. Take the train into Florence to avoid parking a car. Experience Borroncino Restaurant in Reggello for a gastronomic treat. We would certainly return to this heavenly spot for touring Tuscany.

Magnifique villa avec une vue époustouflante

Vacances en famille. Suffisamment de place pour 4 couples avec enfants. Grande piscine avec coin abrité doté d’une table de ping-pong, douche et toilettes à proximité. Magnifique court de tennis. Sans oublier l’hospitalité du propriétaire des lieux et la délicieuse cuisine du chef.

Christmas Week

We stayed for the week between Christmas and New Years and had an absolutely amazing time. The villa is beautiful and really spacious for our group of 10 people. Tom was so welcoming and helpful and a wonderful host. The location is perfect for exploring the area, so much to see and close enough to Florence for a day trip. We can't say enough good things about this wonderful spot. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

2024 family vacation and birthday celebration

Our stay at Villa Maria was amazing! The property and amenities were absolutely first rate! Tommaso was an amazing host and extremely helpful with recommendations and assistance! We had two outstanding meals prepared by chef Donato , one on the outside dining area celebrating our daughter’s 30th birthday! The views were just amazing! We highly recommend this property it is nothing short of spectacular.

Return Visit Even Better

Our second visit to Villa Maria with extended family was every bit as magical as the first. We enjoyed evening dinners on the veranda, lounging by the pool and visiting the Tuscan hill towns. Our dinner prepared by chef Donato was exceptional…a highlight of the visit! Our host, Tommaso, was very helpful and available as needed.

Beautiful villa

A group of ten visited the villa for a week and it was fabulous. Chef Donato treated us to wonderful dinners and we enjoyed the breathtaking views of the estate. Our host, Tomosso was so helpful and friendly. We would certainly return.

Tuscany Family reunion

Our family of 11 enjoyed 4 wonderful days at this once in a lifetime villa. Tommaso, our host was a delight to work with. He was attentive, gave us great information and was available for any questions during our stay. One of our highlights was having Donato cook for us for the 4 nights we were there. Retirement dream

WOW. Very impressed. The villa and grounds are breaktaking. You MUST have the chef prepare several meals. The food is amazing. Villa maria is stunning. We felt like royalty.

Excellent home base for Tuscany experience

This beautiful Tuscan estate exceeded expectations for our wine and culinary vacation! The view is spectacular. Our host, Tommaso, was extremely friendly and a gracious host. We brought in a chef for a Tuscan cooking class and the kitchen was well appointed. Parking the car was easy. Very modern bathrooms. Two wonderful rooms for group gathering areas inside. Highly recommend this property!

Russcany! 75th Birthday Reunion for my Husband.

A gorgeous villa with an indescribable view-you can just sit with a glass of wine and stare for hours. Plenty of privacy for everyone and several group gathering spaces both inside and out. Tomasso, our host, was always available to answer our questions and see to our needs. He made everything so easy. This is a memory we will all cherish forever 💕

Beautiful property and wonderful host

This home is special. Very private and plenty of room. Tommaso our host was wonderful and available anytime we reached out. Great recommendations from him as well. We hired Donato to cook for us and after that dinner we wished we had him do more nights! Just excellent in every way. We also hired a photographer who did an awesome job as well.

Paradise in Tuscany

This experience with Villa Maria went so far beyond our expectations that it’s hard to put into words. Tommaso was a never-ending help with the patience far beyond what we could’ve asked. The house was immaculate, the location prime, and the views never to be forgotten. Working with Marco and Tommaso was flawless and easy. Hope to go again

We, a family of 13, have just concluded a lovely week at Villa Maria, which is a fabulous place. Lovely house in beautiful surroundings, incl. the well-kept garden, pool area, the unique view of the valley with ever-changing clouds and colors, and the nearby town and area. The villa includes everything we needed for a group our size, and we enjoyed the various possible activities, such as tennis, pool, ping pong, etc. between our walks in the area or stints of relaxation by the pool. The host, Tommaso, is super friendly, service-minded and easy to communicate with. We had also indirectly engaged Donato (chef) to cook wonderful Italien meals for us, and he delivered above all expectations. We will for sure return to Villa Maria another time, and can clearly recommend it to other.

An authentic Tuscan experience

My family and I recently stayed at the villa and had an incredible experience. Our host Tomasso was super attentive, knowledgeable and very helpful when it came to navigating travel in the area. We also hired Chef Donato for dinners and his food was incredible - I highly recommend him! The property is family friendly - we had children with us and they loved using the outdoor pool and soccer field. We did not rent a car but I would suggest it for those looking to do daytrips outside of the town. Thank you Marco and Tomasso for an incredible tuscan experience!

Refugium in toskanischer Hügellandschaft

Part of the family

We had an amazing stay at the villa. It was more house than two people need, but we are on a “second honeymoon” and wanted to be alone and be centrally located to visit all over Tuscany. It’s hard to describe the experience. It’s not the view or the building, it’s the family history and genuine goodness that exudes from this place. It’s rare to find now a day, but is more abundant than olive oil at Villa Maria. I didn’t just stay at a VRBO, I made a lifelong friend and connection in Italy.

Tuscan

The villa in the Italian hills did not disappoint. Even the flowers were blooming and abundant as they were in the photos. We enjoyed all aspects of the property…the well-maintained pool, the various dining spaces, and comfortable areas for visiting and reading. The newly renovated bathrooms were a great surprise. Tommaso, the on-property manager/owner was incredibly helpful and assisted us with many requests and valuable advice. The advice ranged from restaurant recommendations to helping with car mechanical issues. Tommaso is a wonderful host and seemed to enjoy his work.
