"We booked this house because of its proximity to friends who live on the island and the views, as shown in the listing. The house is well stocked and the views are gorgeous. Many reviews comment on how old the house it is, but I found it in great shape/ functional and clean. It also has a special beach charm. My only concern is that the “kid’s room” has its own entrance/ exit. We used outdoor chairs to “barricade” the door at night to ensure safety while sleeping. An exterior lock would be nice...

"Tucked away from everything. Quiet and peaceful. Good view of the water. The neighbors helped us find the path down to the beach that was at the end of the street. The communication was great! It was about an hour away from Deception Pass state park. Be aware there is no AC, we were able to cool off with having windows open in the evenings and early mornings."

"Beautiful views of the area and Mt. Baker! This house is in a nice neighborhood with lots of space between them, so the yard is private, and the deck is huge! Kitchen was updated and accommodated cooking meals for our family reunion. Rooms were lovely, clean and comfortable. A/C was a plus on the warm weekend we spent there. The shower door needs some repair but overall everything worked great. Would stay again! "
