"Communication with Manuel was smooth and easy. The location is simply gorgeous. We had the Sherry apt which has a huge balcony with direct views to the Mountains. Location is great especially if you are hiking the higher summits. Pico de Arieiro is well worth getting up early for the Sun Rise. While were there, over 80% of the people were local. Food around is very good and asfffordable"

"Property had lovely views, nice balcony, apartment was fine although people should be careful to know it doesn't have AC. The property mgmt team was responsive once we were able to reach them."

"Pros: Es waren bequeme Betten in den 2 Schlafzimmern und eines hatte ein Bad ensuite. Insgesamt aber 2 vollwertig sehr modern und schön ausgestattete Bäder. Die Küche bietet alles um auch Zuhause zu kochen und die Terrasse lädt zum Verweilen ein. Es gibt eine Tiefgarage (Schlüssel liegt in der Wohnung beim Checkin). Mit dem Bus oder Taxi ist es ganz einfach nach Funchal oder anderen Ausflugszielen zu gelangen und man kann sich wirklich überlegen ob man überhaupt ein Auto braucht. Cons: Aktuell...

"The house, the space, the design, the views, the electrics blinds! It had everything you needed and felt an inviting house with household essentials to use/share. The house was a luxury to stay in. Communication with (We Host Maderia) Carlota prior to arrival was very helpful and appreciated too. "This beautiful, spacious, and spotless apartment offers a stunning view and a very comfortable stay. While we personally found the mattresses a bit too firm, that's of course a matter of taste. Do keep in mind that a car is essential here, as there’s not much within walking distance. Fortunately, the apartment comes with two private parking spots, which is ideal. All in all, we definitely recommend staying here!"

10/10 Excellent

"A 5 star resort , great spa too. Indoor pools, hot tub and steam room were serien. Our massage therapist was knowledgeable and friendly as well. The main outdoor pool is massive and water warm. The breakfast buffet is outstanding . The staff were always polite and spoke various languages fluently. Our room was very large with a terrific shower. I loved their optional pillow selection as well. The cleaning staff folded our clothes too daily. A nice touch. There are plenty of great restaurants close to the hotel, all reasonably priced and served up good food options. Overall I’d recommend this facility. "
