Cliff Bay is a fantastic hotel, with the most amazing views. Staff were excellent, from the moment we walked in to the moment we left they couldn’t do enough for you. We paid for an ocean view room that came with either a king or twin bed. We were celebrating our 15 year wedding anniversary so before we went I sent them a message asking if we could have the king bed with a great view of the ocean. To my surprise they put us in the most beautiful suite, a gesture that was kind and beautiful but not expected at all. Such a fun surprise and made for an amazing experience at the Cliff Bay hotel for our first time in Madeira.

Fantastic stay at this great hotel

Everything about the hotel is very stylish. The rooms are large and comfortable and have everything you need. At breakfast there is plenty of choice and plenty of helpful staff. Outside there are plenty of loungers and masses of space. Highly recommended.
