"Accommodation was basic but adequate for our stay. Close to main town of St Jean and tram/bus routes. Room clean but very hot despite not turning on the heating and it being November. The water tank was directly above the toilet which was hazardous but other than that it was a comfortable stay. Our only real grumble was the neighbour above us allowed their toddler to continually run up and down at night and this often kept us awake until they finally got the child to bed! "

"Easy, flat walk to centre. Good breakfast. Rooms a little dusty - no English tv channel. No area in hotel to sit or have a coffee etc other than your room. Friendly, helpful staff. "

"The one lady on reception was really helpful and could speak English. The others on reception were not helpful and could not speak English. The property needs a good clean and needs a good paint. The Continental Breakfast included in my rate was great value for money. The rooms are not cleaned/serviced daily. The free toiletries was body wash only in the bathroom. You have to ask for extra towels and for loo paper if needed. There was sufficient parking."

"A clean, modem and spacious apartment in the university area of Bordeaux. Friendly staff who spoke good English. Parking easy and free. Lots of restaurants nearby. Direct team to city centre."

"Great place for able-bodied guests. Spiral staircase a bit tricky for older folks and upstairs shower floor very slippery - a rubber mat would help. Kitchen well-equipped and dishes were attractive. Units would be ideal for families."

"Bordeaux is fantastic and we wanted an economy hotel near enough to the centre. We had stayed with this hotel group in Bagneux, Paris, and hotel there was very good. This hotel is older, lady on reception was very helpful but hotel is not of same standard as in Paris and reception is not manned in the evenings or Saturday afternoon.
