Family Weekend

Beautiful and spacious location for our family and grandchildren. So much open space made our fun to play games and spend time together. The kitchen was very well stocked- perfect for large groups. Outdoor space was lovely for campfire!

Wonderful family trip

We had a blast at this wonderful cabin. There was plenty of space for everyone and activities from games indoors, to hiking and fishing outdoors. All the ingredients for a great family weekend are there, just add people.

best cabin ever

We had a really great time. The cabin is beautiful and so spacious. We love it there. The price is reasonable for the size of the cabin. Only complaint would be we had to have a 4wheel drive vehicle to get up the lane to the cabin, but it is worth it.

Our family loves it!

This has been a highlight of our summer for a number of years--our married kids bring their children, and we have a wonderful family time. Campfires, games, singing, fishing, and just having fun! And the hosts couldn't be better!

Amazing lodge in a wooded setting

This beautiful log lodge was plenty roomy for our whole family of 10 adults and 3 children. We were in town for our sons wedding and the roomy kitchen had just what we needed to prepare the rehearsal meal with 2 ovens and 2 refrigerators. Everything was very clean and convenient. Lovely place!!

Beautiful Family Retreat

I have had the privilege of enjoying this cabin multiple times before, but this was the first with my extended family and it fit our needs perfectly. There was something for everyone and enough space cook, play games, run, and explore. From the adults to teenagers, it was agreed we would live to come back again.

Great getaway!

11 adult family members- siblings and spouses had a great time together. Plenty of bedroom space, nice showers. The great room/ kitchen area is amazing. Kitchen well stocked with cooking utensils, dishes, etc. we had what we needed. Property very secluded- great place to get away from it all-

Another awesome family stay

Love this place. This is our 2nd stay for our family Christmas weekend. Always a nice time. Lots of food, laughter, and games. Love the caretakers also. They brought one of their puppies and I fell in love and was hard not to take him home. Dora the property owner is always there to answer a question.

Great Property

Very nice cabin that is setup for a large group. They keep it simple, and incredibly well organized. Everything you need is there, and they keep it spotless. We simply needed a place for our team to stay and this was perfect. The kids enjoyed the game in the basement and all setup air mattresses down there.

Graduation brought us all together!

The property was amazing...we celebrated my granddaughter's graduation from college. That dining table brought us all together and the living room with huge couch es provided an evening of storytelling and laughter. Yet we had space for individual times and intimate conversations. Bedrooms and baths were exceptional...Had a grand time.

Beautiful place to stay

We all love it, the kitchen, dining room and living room was our favorite place, because we all were able to gather together. The are is beautiful and the are stores really close by, in case if we forget something. The only thing that some of my family didn’t like was the was no good telephone service. But I love it because that make us really spend time together.

Family Reunion

It is just minutes from town and the highway but is very secluded. Which is what we wanted. Long driveway, peaceful wooded hillside, and then the spacious lovely Lodge. The kitchen is well furnished for food prep, and the living room is roomy. Everything was clean. Also loved the patio out back with the grill and fire pit. We definitely recommend it!!

Secluded family Christmas

Great 8 bedroom property not far from major roads. This was three generations honoring a long tradition. No internet or cable so watching the cotton bowl did not happen. Kitchen is well stocked and two refrigerators is necessary. Game room is great for family time. We would stay again but figure out an option for steaming if needed or bring our own tv. Owner was responsive.

We have been coming her for 7 years annually. We love the property and enjoy the yearly updates. Perfect for a large family gathering. No internet makes it wonderful for the kids to Have to communicate. I even like no cable so the kids aren’t more interested in watching something. They actually have to be involved and we love it! The kitchen is perfect for 5 women and a few teens cooking. We live the fire pit for hot dogs! Just as close to perfection as you can get.

Better than the pictures

I booked this cabin as a place for a family reunion. We all hadn’t been in the same place in 25 years and I wanted a special place for a special occasion. Let me tell you that the pictures DO NOT do this place justice. It’s a gorgeous cabin with tons of space to spread out, relax, and have fun. We had one little girl with us and she loved the playground in the back. Lots of comments about how well stocked the kitchen was and we were able to make lots of great homemade meals together. Everything was clean, and it was nice to not have to worry about that. The best part in my opinion was the large table. We made cooked all of our meals and everyone got to sit at the table together. If you’re looking for a big place to host a lot of people, this is it. If I’m ever looking for a place to host a large gathering this will be my first choice!

Great Family Cabin

We stayed here to celebrate a multigenerational Epiphany and Orthodox Christmas gathering. The size of the cabin was great to have plenty of space for every family member and the number of bedrooms made it easy to house everyone. It snowed while we were there which made a picturesque visit, the kids even made a snowman! The cabin's caretakers paid us a visit to check in on us and we exchanged numbers if ever needed during our visit. Location is secluded but very close to a Walmart and multiple dining areas. One downside was the lack of internet or tv, we planned to watch the Steelers football game, so we planned ahead and brought a hotspot, it did get minimal reception so we were able to watch the game on our laptop with some buffering. Oh yeah, and the Steelers won! Thank you to Dora for being very responsive to questions and requests, including leaving the Christmas tree and decorations up for our Christmas celebration after the 25th.
