"we enjoyed our stay BUT the fan didn't work , the frig;was not empty ,the daybeds [futons ] DID NOT open and my daughter slept on one NOT opened , and my son - in law slept on the other one NOT opened . Will not stay again ."

"Friendly people made everyone welcome. The cottage has everything one needs to just come and relax and enjoy a time away."

"House is spacious and supplies adequate. Just bring your own towels and linens as earlier advised by owner Water supply, hot and cold, is abundant for 12 people. Parking for 5 cars, no problem. Things that can easily be added to make the property more user friendly: 1) Grab bars in bath tubs to prevent accidents. We had two slips and had to grab the shower curtain and avoided a bad fall. 2) Electric fan in each room to address the warm nights of summer. Bought our own fans ar Port Perry...

"This very small two-bedroom home met our needs well. The home is older but renovated with some new touches and a few quirks. Rustic bedrooms, which we wish had more than one power outlet each. Excellent kitchen. We didn't love the position of the stairs immediately outside the bathroom door and would recommend some additional updates (ex. making the jacuzzi tub usable and replacing the missing shower door with another door instead of a curtain). "I had a great stay. We went up with 3 families, each with two kids and everyone had a blast. The house has a spectacular kitchen with an open concept that accommodated all of us comfortably. Location was great, quick drive from Toronto and then you’re immediately on a lake. Kids loved heading on the lake with kayaks, the gas fireplace, and just lounging in the pool. The town was also very close to pick up any last minute supplies and to just walk around with nice little shops and restaurants....
