"My wife and I stayed at the Kunken Lodge along our travels around the beautiful country of Costa Rica. The property grounds are picturesque and perfectly manicured, the food was delicious, and Elian and Pierre were amazing hosts that went above and beyond to make sure everything about our stay was perfect. "View is insane. Stunning. Short drive up a long road which is unusual for Costa Rica. Beautiful lobby and rooms. Well appointed rooms with everything you need. The staff are rockstars. They do it all. English and Spanish spoken by all. Franciso, Michele and Roxanne are an asset to the hotel. They understand service with a smile and learn preferences quickly. Right next to Ojachal and minutes away from Uvita. You won't want to leave."
"Absolutely amazing location with stunning views. The property is new, well maintained, clean and has everything to need for your stay. We stayed in the Tucan villa, the pool was perfect and the covered deck was great on warm rainy days. The staff was super friendly and easy to connect with through WhatâsApp. Uvita beach is a short drive away, lots of good restaurants nearby. We stayed 12 nights and didnât want to leave! We will definitely come back here if in Costa Rica again."
"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Drake Bay Getaway Lodge. Nestled high in the trees with a spectacular view of Drake Bay, we went to sleep with the sound of the pounding surf and the calls of green-eyed tree frogs and awoke every morning to the sounds of Capuchin monkeys and yellow toucans. Do yourself a favor and have dinner at the hotel as often as you can. Chef Lily is a true artiste both in terms of flavour and presentation. Her passion-fruit creme brulee might be the best dessert Iâve ever had. The entire staff takes great care to ensure an enjoyable stay. We enthusiastically recommend staying here."
"The staff was helpful, warm and kind. The room was stunning. Wrap around windows, including the bathroom shower. Views of the ocean and up the hill into the trees. We regularly watched pairs of macaws fly in front of us. Immaculately clean. The coffee and yogurt served in the dining hall were unusually tasty.
I highly recommend staying here if you go to Osa. Ask for room 3! Many of the tours depart from here, and it's the closest to the supermarket and laundry.
Be aware that the rooms are very small with little storage space. However, if you came by plane - you likely only have a backpack anyway. Also it is hard to find the main office. "

" A Slice of Paradise in Costa Rica!From the moment we arrived, this stunning home exceeded every expectation. Every detail was thoughtfully curated to maximize the natural beauty surrounding the property. Large windows, perfectly placed seating areas, and open spaces made it feel like nature was part of the home itself. Morning visits from the toucans made morning coffee on the patio an unforgettable memory with sounds of the ocean and the ocean views, just awesome! The pool was huge and had options for lounging or laps. The infinity edge was perfect for lounging and soaking up the ocean views. What truly set this place apart were the personal touches. You can tell the owners went above and beyond to create an unforgettable experience.If you have time and are able, request the waterfall rappelling tour and mangrove kayaking tour. Both were fantastic. Diego and Anner were amazing guides, taking time to explore, enjoy the natural settings, and genuinely good people.
