"Breakfast was wonderful and included in our stay"

"I usually do not write reviews. But my stay here left me with a bad taste in my mouth. The hotel looks very nice from the outside and is super well located. Inside though, it has a very creepy feeling and the staff just felt off. As a young woman traveling for me is scary by itself. It did not help that while I was trying to take a shower, a man tried to break into my room and was banging my door down. I called the emergency service in the hotel and by the time they came the man was gone and therefore nothing was done. It might sound dramatic but this was definitely a traumatizing experience. If you are a solo traveler, I wouldn’t recommend."

"This place is top notch and you will feel like a million Euros! The terrace, views and location are quintessential Portofino. The spa and breakfast will not disappoint. I needed a place to park and had no issues. The walk to downtown is easy and enjoyable. I would recommend to my closest friends, not just you. ;)"

"Check in with Gabriel was excellent but when transferred to Savoia the woman checking us in was negative and told me that Gabriel did not tell us we had free breakfast which he did and we did after going rounds with her and her calling others to protect her charging for breakfast. Not a good start at a 5 star property."

"This is an excellent hotel- incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful staff, clean modern room with all amenities needed, a beautiful rooftop terrace and a delicious breakfast with more food than we could possibly eat. It felt very luxurious and was very conveniently located to access hiking trails and the waterfront. I also appreciated the underground parking. Highly recommend this hotel."

"The property is new and very clean. The amenities are nice. Simone was super friendly and helped us with many questions. Honestly, the rest of the staff, not so much. The area is nice for walking around despite the busy traffic. Everything closes at 8 except fine restaurants that you need a reservation for. Highly recommend the hotel but don’t think we’ll return Genoa."
