Despite booking two rooms, and one specifically a 3-person room, I was told my booking didn’t reflect 5 people so I was charged an additional €360 before even getting a room key. But I was “in luck” since the room I booked was available to accommodate 3 people - go figure! The room I paid for already was still available!? What luck! If you’re expecting a 5-star experience, recalibrate. This isn’t a 5-star...

"The hotel was excellent, but finding it was a little difficult. For some reason, the address on Maps as well as Google Maps had it in a different place. There was no parking close (they said they had limited parking) so finding parking then finding the hotel was the issue - once we were there it was terrific and the staff was wonderful, and very very helpful. It is a beautiful property. We would definitely go back."

"You mislead us by saying this hotel was near Portofino. It was not. It required me to hire a private taxi driver to drive us there May 9. The cost was 520 USD. This hotel happens to be beautiful and well worth the stay. Your site falsely advertised the location You really need to tell the truth. The hotel deserves better treatment. It does not need your misinformation to get people to stay."

"Very nice location with views overlooking the town on one side and the sea on the other. It was convenient having the car close to our room. We swam in the private beach, it was nice being away from everyone. The elevator makes getting to town/beach fast and easy. I didn’t realize the private beach however is an added cost. It is €45 per person, per day. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it."

"We have been staying at this hotel for several years now for our anniversary. The owner Paola managed to extend our stay this year, which was perfect as it was also my birthday. Yonel at reception took great care of our throughout our stay, taking care of all our restaurant reservations, aperitivi on the terrace, taxis bookings, spa massages, our boat trip to Portofino ect. For us, this hotel offers us everything we could ask for a mini break away."

"When we arrived they advised our dinner reservations were cancelled because a large wedding party had booked the restaurant. We had booked this months in advance.The door knob fell off the door and we could not lock our room. The shower hose came loose from the wall and sprayed water every where. The wedding party band kept us up til midnight. Room service breakfast arrived cold.The hotel is beautiful but not a good experience."

"From the moment we checked we were welcomed by the friendly receptionist, who took the time to show us our room, The room was beautiful and clean with an amazing view of the gardens and pool area, Breakfast was exceptional and all the staff were very attentive to our needs. Overall a beautiful hotel and amazing staff. Although this was a 3 star hotel, in our opinion it's was 4 star +. And would not hesitate recommend the beautiful hotel."
