I stayed a week here and it was such a wonderful getaway! Ed and Ruth were great and very friendly hosts and stayed on top of communication. The apartment was a perfect cozy spot plus in a great location not far from Cottonwood or Sedona. I will definitely be coming here again!
First the host insisted on giving us a proper tour of the apartment while we left our suitcase in the car. This took about a half hour as he went through every detail and rule. I was tired and just wanted to unpack and shower. The apartment was 80 degrees when inquiring about the temp. The host stated he control the temp and to text him if i need it turned up or down. Lastley we were told the codes on the doors did not workand he did not know what they were. I was able to lock the apartment from inside unable to lock the apartment when we left to explore area. . The host also told us he keeps thing secured and showed us his handgun he carried on his waist. Would not stay again did not feel safe as female staying here. while there but when leaving for day the apart
Every year on July 4th my neighbors set off fireworks above my home. I personally do not mind them; however, my dogs do. Fearing my senior dog would have to deal with another year of him having panic attacks because he thinks war is on our doorstep. I decided to take a vacation after almost a decade. This vacation was more for my pups then for me. After doing my research in the state of Arizona I found 2 cities where fireworks were illegal. Flagstaff and Sedona. I had my destinations in mind, and in order to save money I wanted to cook my own food. The criteria for the place to find was simple. Quiet, can cook, private, and a place my dogs can run around. Even though I began searching a month in advance, many places were taken or the prices raised for the holiday weekend. My budget was a maximum of 400. For 2 days that seemed way over budget. After exhausting my search, I found a place that sparked my interest in Camp Verde. Not exactly Sedona or flagstaff, but it was within driving distance so I didn’t mind. This property had fit the small criteria that I had been looking for. Without reading the fine print, I reached out to the host to make sure my small needs were met. The host (ED) confirmed it was quiet, secluded with a yard for dogs to run around, and a place I could cook. I asked if he was willing to make an exception for me to have two dogs as the listing said only one was permitted and under 30 pounds. After describing my dogs, he said both my dogs are welcome. I sa
