"We had a great Labor Day Weekend staying at Hyatt Place, Santa Cruz! Staff was great. Helped us stash bags before check-in was available. The guys valet my car early as well, so we could take off for fun stuff. Room was flip'n Great too. Nice view, including Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and Hotel's pool and hot tub as well. Perfect bed and living room sofa was really nice. We had a great full breakfast with lots of choices. Totally stuffed our faces, haaaa. We wanted just one more swim & tub, so asked for a later check out time. Desk said no problem. Hotels.com got us there and Hyatt Place has locked us in for next Santa Cruz or Capitola stay. We love the beach and Hyatt Place ! Thank You Sniders"

"Hotel stay couldn’t have been better! Staff is so helpful and attentive, hotel itself is magical, the scenery is amazing, overall the whole thing is top notch. I want to come back as soon as possible! Super dog friendly which was great for me. I don’t have anything bad to say, only great things! Anyone giving this place a bad review needs to get their head checked."

"Good location, I only stayed 3 nights of my 5 night stay as to not disrupt the busy morning for my daughter getting my granddaughter and two step grandsons to school which is why I never used any amenities at the property. Only issue, I wanted espresso I. The restaurant but only regular brewed coffee is offered so I walked to Starbucks about .7 of a mile away. Staff nice, great blow dryer same brand as mine. Could hear too much noise in the morning and people eating outside by the pool through the window, sound proof glass would be nice, my room was 303. Not sure what was up with the ac… first night perfect, 2nd night ok, 3 rd night… hot…. Could not sleep…. Discovered cleaning staff must have decided to turn it off … not ok…. The desk staff and man in restaurant good customer service even though he could not make espresso was apologetic…. Something the property could invest in obtaining. Nice stay, room clean."
