Welcome to Hatcher Pass, Our Cozy Home on Hatcher Road!

Due to a long term rental, we have not had any recent reviews, however, we are excited to be ready for short term guests again in July of 2024!

Nestled between Campbellsville and Columbia this country property is the perfect place for a getaway or somewhere to rest and relax while passing through. Campbellsville University and Lindsay Wilson College are 6 and 17 miles away respectively. Located at 755 Hatcher Rd. Campbellsville, KY 42718 the house is less than 5 miles from Green River Lake State Park and 17 miles from Holmes Bend Marina. This property features three bedrooms and two bathrooms with beds to sleep up to 8 people. There is also a large front and back yard perfect for the kids to play in while you relax on the porch!

Inside there is also a nicely furnished kitchen with all the necessities to make a great meal; large french door refrigerator with ice maker, 4 burner electric stove with oven, dishwasher, microwave, regular coffee pot, toaster, and pots and pans with cooking utensils.

The living room has a sofa and loveseat set with a recliner, 65" SMART TV with Amazon Fire TV Stick and DVD player to watch your favorite movies. Wifi is available for all your streaming needs. Our Amazon Fire TV Stick includes free streaming apps as well as Hulu.

Master bedroom has a king size bed with a 32" SMART TV and walk-in closet. Master bathroom includes a walk-in shower.

The second and third bedrooms each have 1 twin bed and 1 full bed with dresser, and closet.

The second bathroom includes a tub/shower combo. Bed linens and pillows, bath and kitchen towels are funished as well as hand and dish soap. Also provided are starter toilet paper, paper towels, and dishwasher pods.

Laundry room includes washer and dryer with iron and ironing board.

Side entrance at the driveway provides a ramp with bilateral hand railing for entry/exit the home. Parking includes driveway which will fit 3 vehicles easily as well as boat/trailer parking. Patio furniture (on both porches) and a gas grill is located on the back porch as well. We look forward to seeing you soon!

The home was easy to find, and very clean. It is about 5 miles from town and about 5 miles from the Green River Marina, so you have lots of options for shopping, eating and outdoor activities. We did not spend much time at the house, but it has all the amenities you need to stay for a few days including a washer and dryer.

This was the second time staying at this property; the last time in 2022. There was a dried up partially used roll of toilet paper under the second bathroom sink that was dried and had mold on it. Under that same sink looked like there had been a water leak at some point as the wood was discolored like moldy. Shower curtains in both bathroom need replacing; bottom edges on both curtains are discolored and shower curtains are old. My 11 year old granddaughter has severe allergies to black mold and had breathing issues while staying with us at the property and had to use her inhaler many times. I messaged host when we arrived because I couldn’t find coffee cups nor the silverware and the coffee machine carafe. Everything was in the dishwasher and didn’t smell like it was fresh. I never received an answer when I told him the guests should not have to unload the dishwasher. Also the outside trash can was full when we got there on the 12th. I like the property however don’t know now if I will stay again. Even the soft spot in the floor in two places have not been fixed since our last stay. My husband and I have mobility issues and carry handicapped placards and it’s going to be an issue if someone walks on the soft spot wrong especially the one by the back door.

Lake

Because of the lake flooding we were unable to stay at campground. My daughter and her family were coming up from Georgia. We always camp July 4 holiday but this was much better than camping. Space for everyone and close to everything

Great place outside of town

Great location for Green River Lake

The location is great for quickly getting to the lake. Downtown Campbellsville is close for restaurants and grocery. Property is comfortable after a long day on the lake. Owner was great and accessible if needed. Highly recommend this location. Look forward to future visits.

Reunion

Location was so handy. Close to lake & event center. Home was lovely & easy to be in. Beds were comfortable & nice sized rooms. Everything was there if you needed to cook. All linens were good quality. The TV was large with plenty of viewing channels but would have liked to have had more local stations. It’s hard to fault anything & I would certainly stay there again if I need to come back to Campbellsville.

In town for a wedding and found this house perfect for our needs! We were able to drive to mammoth cave in about 30 min, enjoy the mountain overlook and the lake about 15 min away. When we come back to explore more mammoth cave, onyx cave and the boat cave tour we will stay again! Owners were easy to communicate with and quick to respond.

Quiet country home

Nice spacious home in the country and a 10 minute drive to green river lake. Pantry could have used a few more convenience items(coffee, salt, pepper etc.) but grocery was 10 minute drive so wasn’t a big deal. Overall the property and location are great.
