Great location, comfortable rooms, good food, and most importantly amazing staff that always go the extra mile to make your stay a special one. Special thanks go to Mr. José Mendez who always makes sure that all guests are having a wonderful time. Furthermore, the swimming pool is very nice and heated, and we really enjoyed the mini-golf and the little steam next to it. "

"Lovely spacious villa with plenty of room for 10-12 people, and lots of dining and sitting space inside, and outdoor space. It was very warm during our stay, and as the villa doesn't have air conditioning it did get warm inside. Some more fans would be useful, as opening windows does increase outside noise. "Le site est magnifique avec une vue extraordinaire. Pas de communication et difficile de trouver le nom de la cabane arrivée sur place. Pas de clôture avec le chien des voisins locataires qui vient te hurler dessus. C’est dommage pour le calme recherché. Le restaurant panoramique est très bon avec de belles balades et les cascades a 1H en voiture. "

"If you like a little history, and what I presume is traditional Portuguese construction, this is the place. It is a delightful example of the reuse of the past. Extremely well laid out and presented. I consider it more secluded than isolated. A lovely house in a lovely part of Portugal."

Gastvrouw Madelena zorgt met haar man Luis al zo'n veertig jaar voor haar gasten opdat deze herenboerderij kan blijven bestaan in al haar goed onderhouden glorie. Ideale ligging in de Minho. "Super house in a beautiful setting. It has everything you need, plenty of room, peace and quiet. Coming back to the house after a long day of hiking in Geres was just perfect. The hosts are super warm and friendly, they even started us off with a gift basket of eggs, wine, bread, and pastries. Antonio could not have been a better host. The kitchens (indoor and outdoor) are well equipped. There is a grocery near by and a fabulous restaurant called O Vaticano just 5 minutes down the road. Highly...

"Northern Portugal is amazing, with history around every corner. And Ponte de Lima is close to all the early battles with Spain and the coast from which the explorers set out. We found castle after castle and saw ancient grape vines being harvested. Madelena and Luis showed us their beautiful estate that is, in a way, preserving the historic beauty of the Vinho Verde region."

"This is an excellent property in a beautiful setting. As well as the pool, the house is surrounded by a wonderful garden with orchard, vines, and shaded spots. The very welcoming owner lives next door and went out of his way to make our stay comfortable and interesting - he gave us his own wine, vegetables from the garden and arranged for the local baker to deliver every day. The house was spotless and very well provided with bedrooms and bathrooms. Fast wifi in the house. Cooking facilities...

"We had the most amazing time, the property is stunning and the views are magnificent. The owners are super friendly and always available for information on the area and to provide their own wine and produce which is superb, nothing was to much trouble.We all enjoyed the pool especially our children that were in it from the moment they got up until bed.
