Beautiful beautiful Peneda de Gerês National Park. There are loads of waterfalls, river gorges and hiking trails along with traditional Portuguese villages. Every hiker and waterfall chaser should make a visit. We stayed in Campo de Gerês and spent a couple of days driving and hiking in the area. It’s been raining every day on this trip but it’s lovely nonetheless.

"I visited in October 2025 mid month. The place was affordable, clean and location was great. It was nice to have the kitchen. There is an elevator but no front desk. However, person in charge was reachable by WhatsApp I would stay there again. "
